Good safe trip. Drivers could have informed passengers about the trip and tell where we are when the bus stops. Food should be better, not much for the whole trip, also not enough drinks
The bus trip from Buenos Aires to Bariloche on Crucero del Norte went very smoothly. The bus was on time and the seats (Cama exejutivo) we’re comfortable and included a blanket and pillow. Retiro station is chaotic and feels disorganized but that is not the fault of Crucero del Norte. Dinner was good, but breakfast and lunch was poor. Bring your own water and snacks.
The booked "cama" was only "semi-cama". So a bit of a rip-off. No USB to charge, but hey. That's okay. The broken vent constantly blowing hot air at our seats and the leaking windows getting us wet and the mold over us not.
I take a lot of buses all around the world, I’ve never seen a staff treating people like this one did to us. Physically agressive, woke me up brutally. Woke up a little girl with brutality too and the mother told him to calm doze, he replied as if he was the king of the world. Unacceptable. From A to Z. And if I take the time to respond to a survey it’s that it really is.
Driver was very rude at Retiro station because my Spanish wasn’t good enough. On board the guy serving the snacks (just 2 in over 24 hours) was fine. WiFi didn’t work but the semi-cama was comfortable.
The bus was incredibly slow and made alot of stops along a route with many detours making the trip longer. The toilet was horrible with no paper. They served one meal over a 26 hour trip which itself was barely a meal. They only had one option to drink and had no water. At breakfast they gave us 3 crackers a biscuit, and a teabag but no cup or hot water to have it in. Overall a very dissapointing trip compared to other bus providers in Argentina i would not recommend this one
Bus departed almost 2 hours late, nobody kept us informed. The driver hits tye wingmirror at a checkpoint, we wait another 2 hours for that to be fixed. I'm sat next to an alcoholic rambling buffoon (not necessarily the companies fault). Then the bus breaks down. Sets off. Breaks down again. Repeat about 5 times before eventually we were rescued by a passing Via Barriloche bus. What an ordeal. The saving grace was that the staff actually on the bus were kind and apologetic and clearly trying their best, so thanks to them.
Had a pleasant 25-hour journey. The bus was half-empty, so I had space enough to stretch my legs.
Had to change bus around 6 a.m. - a guy from the staff woke me up and told me that the lagguage would be moved to the new bus by them.
Only down-side: my backpack was damaged during the journey.
The stuff was unconscious and unpleased.
The ac at the bus was freezing and nobody succeed to sleep.
The passengers asked from the drivers to turn it off but the would not agreed.
The trip was disaster.
1. The drivers putted the bus ac temperature on very cold one, all the passengers asked them to turn the ac off but just after 13 hours of driving they accepted the requests of the passengers and turned the ac off.
2. The bus has late 1.5 hours from its schedule
