My husband is 6ft 4 and we were made to sit right st the back with two other very tall people. We had no room at all, meanwhile all the Asians got to sit at the front with heaps of legroom. We were chatting to the Asians and they had oy booked today, we booked in november!! The staffs English was appalling and they were abrupt and rude.

Firstly the address on the confirmation ticket said P Sisowath quay - incorrect address and was very worrying as no one around spoke English. Luckily I found the tourist information center [Yello bldg at the river front] but they too had the wrong address. It was only after calling the bus on my behest that they learned it was a third location far from the original Quay. Secondly, the AC in the bus was not working and being already full it was hot and sturdy the whole journey. There is no leg room to stretch your leg as it's not a bus but a minivan. Being a tall guy my legs were crammed and it was very painful especially towards the end. Would not recommend this bus. Also wifi didn't work throughout the journey. The guy just said sorry and moved on with his work.

The assigned seat to me was the one close to the door. I had to be the last person to enter, and wait for everyone to take their seats before I take mine. Every time someone would get off, I had to wake up to give way. However, the seat was comfortable.

The trip was comfortable. We were provided with water and a pastry as a snack. Along the way, we made 2 stops. The first was 15 mins as a hygeine break as the bus did not have an on-board toilet, and the second, was longer, for lunch. We arrived in Siem Reap on schedule.

Taking giant ibis sleeper night bus from phnom penh to siem reap. The bus is clean and has smooth suspension. The sleeper is not spacious, but big enough for 2 people. The facility is complete, AC, clean toilet, and electrical port to charge your gadget. The crew is effective. The journey takes 7 hours, from 11 pm to 6 am. Nice experience.
