The train was too cold on my trip to Seattle! I was freezing. Other wise it was good. Staff were great, comfortable seats. Would have been more enjoyable if I was not freezing. I had on a sweater and a jacket still too cold
I had hoped to take a train, and would love to see the service restored. The border crossing is an unfortunate detour, but the driver was very good in explaining requirements. He also managed to reach Seattle bang on time despite being delayed at the border.
One might not think of buses when one thinks Amtrak -- the buses are third party contractors. Still, overall it was a wonderful experience. Bring a pen to fill out border-crossing paperwork; staff apparently don't carry pens.
Perfect. Easy to book a reservation and good signage and instructions for first-timers at the station. The driver was very courteous in informing us about what we needed to know.
The bus driver was soooo good. I didn't pay for an extra tour of both Vancouver and Seattle but I did! He is so friendly and made the whole 4hours fun! Even the dread of the border was made fun!
Andre the driver was great.
Not only is he an excellent driver he cracked some jokes and was very informative en route plus he singled handed loaded the cases on and off twice as we had to cross the border into USA
It was the first time I ever traveled by bus. It was a very nice experience. The cost was much less than other forms of travel. The bus was on time, clean and the driver was friendly and efficient. I will definitely do it again.
The bus driver (can’t remember his name) was super nice and friendly. I liked how he pointed out a few sights to see and he was super helpful with the bags and with the border process.
I thought the trip was very good. The driver was great. He kept us engaged by pointing out landmarks, etc.
the trip through US Customs went well but that is probably why the bus was 15 minutes late getting to Seattle, which was not a problem and the driver prepared us for that.
Canadian truckers had blocked access to the truck crossing and had trapped the bus. The driver did an excellent job of getting out and negotiation with the truck drivers to escort us out. He needs to be rewarded for his great service!!! Vancouver to Seattle bus that departed at 1130am Feb 12, 2022. I think it was bus 8909?
