Driver Raj is wonderful, a real asset for the company. He’s an excellent driver and kind, helpful and funny. No one at Seattle Airport knew where to meet the bus. Frustrating but Raj made everything good.
Honestly the entire ordeal was a joke. First the bus showed up to the contention centre 20 minutes early because he forgot the first stop. We then left early to go back, and then drove back again to the convention centre to get the rest of the passengers. Then after all that delay, once we got to the border, we sat in the bus for almost 2 hours before the customs agents would even see us. Adding insult to industry, some moron who had a cough declared that on arrival. So after 2 hours, we were then quarantined until Health Canada released us. Another hour and a half. At this point the driver, like us, was exhausted having started his work at 4AM! Pretty sure it's illegal for a commercial driver to go that long. In any case, we got off the bus early because we were extremely tired and wanted to get home instead of waiting. Turns out, according to customs, if the bus had a proper manifest with contact information, they would have released us sooner. I will never take the bus again. What should have been 2.5-3 hours, was over 6. Unbelievable.
Driver was polite and professional.
The other driver was a little unorganized at pickup time; leaving passengers pretty confused about what bus we were to be on. Once our bus arrived, all was good
1 star review is because the service was cancelled very last minute and no email or text notification given. Only found out after I'd already travelled 2 hours into the city center
The bus ride itself was OK, but the terminal in Seattle is rinky-dink. When we got to 5th and Dearborn S we thought a joke had been played on us until I spotted the “Bolt” sign on a pole. Having been asked to show up half an hour early, we were dismayed that there was no place to sit down and perhaps have something to eat or drink. And what do your patrons do when it’s raining?
The trip was comfortable and calm. We much preferred the ride to driving ourselves. Only a train trip could have been more convenient. And I am glad we didn't hear up the earth unnecessarily by running out cars combustion engine for the trip-this was much more sustainable.
Great trip, quick at immigration and on into Vancouver. Only suggestion would be better communication from the driver as to the pit stop, what to expect at the border, also hand the immigration card out sooner to be ready on arrival. Overall really impressed.
Zero apologies offered and the rudest, driver on a power trip Ive ever come across. He was shouting at a disabled lady at one point that he was the bus driver so he can do what he wants.
the Bus driver did not let me get into the Bus and left since She did not received my name On her list even I showed her my confirmed payment.
I did not receive my e-ticket until around 7am, but my Bus was 6:30am.
Good, employees could be a little more polite - not pushing people around like cattle. One fellow got off the bus to puke just before we took off and the bus driver almost left with his stuff - could have been a little more considerate! I hope CEOs aren’t pushing their employees to save pennies or be on the dot every time to make them act out like this!!
The bus and the drivers were ok but the company didn't updated the change for the return because of it we could hardly accepted on the bus at our return to Vancouver
I meant to say bus was late leaving by one hour. I have near grave concerns about bus drivers' conduct, throughout. It is too extensive to list here. I will follow up with phone call to Greyhound.
Our Driver Mr. Jeff describes anything clearly, and He driving well on the trip and also help us to manage our luggage, thank Bolt bus and thank Mr. Jeff.
Nice staff, comfy seats, but otherwise not a fun experience. 1 hour delay to start, and then further delays at the border. Had to wait 3 hours for my bus after having flown for a day, no wifi at the terminal to let my loved ones know where I am or how late I’m going to be. Wifi was advertised, so I figured it’ll be freely available on the bus. I was wrong, charging customers to use wifi is ridiculous in today’s modern age. I get better service at the lowest-budget fast food chain than with Greyhound (as a company, as I said I have no complaints towards the staff)
Your busses are often very late. There should be some form of compensation for this. My boyfriend’s bus was 3 hours late! The word “sorry” isn’t enough.
Problems with releasing the seatbelt on the right hand side ,on the front seat. Also the compartment
over the front seat would not close. Bus cleaning things fell out.
Booked the wrong Saturday accidentally and they were going to charge me so much extra for changing the ticket that buying a new one in person was only 3 bucks more. So basically paid twice for the trip. Small booking error noticed within 12 h and over a week before the date booked and stuck with it. Not a happy camper.
we left seattle on time but because of one passenger who doesn't have a passport that kept us moving out of the border on time, plus the heavy traffic upon entering the city of vancouver. the trip was fine except that i was not able to connect to the wifi.
