Very unhappy about the smell from the toilet every time they were used for the whole 7 hour + journey

Trip was straightforward and smooth. Temperature was good, only problem was inside was quite dirty and the toilet was appalling

I use the service quite frequently. On this occasion when i boarded at Falmouth the staff not driving was checking tickets before boarding and made a comment about my two suitcases. He said they were too big and had I paid for them. He said they were "large" cases. As a very frequent global traveller who buys many suitcases they are the normal medium size. He said that the Company is getting very strict about the size of suitcases and he showed me a template in the storage area under the bus that showed what was a medium and what was a small case. As it was only one dimensional i think it is a bit difficult to assess as it is really the volume that is important not the flat size! He made some comment about I should have paid extra but after I showed him my ticket that said two suitcases of 20kg or less but size had no restriction were free he reluctantly accepted. On the bus he was officious and I felt it was like a headmaster at a school. He lacked people skills and an ability to relate to his customers. If the Company is bringing in rules about size of suitcases it is certainly worth informing (in a nice way) the passengers by indicating future limitations. Training in what is large and what is medium also needs to be given! The driver himself was absolutely fine.
