The trip was great. Paying for it was a struggle out of my own country with no primary phone to text for authorization.

The bus itself was fine, and the general seats looked clean and comfortable. The problem was the seat that I had to sit in since it was a full bus. I was sat all the way on the back 3-seater, next to the toilet. The bathroom (thankfully) did not smell, but I realized shortly into the trip that directly under my seat was a vent blasting hot air up my legs. I reached down to grab my bag, and realized it was getting hot, and if I had left it there, it may have become a fire hazard. My tumbler in the bag got so hot I almost burned myself when I went to grab it. For 3 hours, I had no cool air, there were no breaks, and I had to keep my legs out in front of me because they were getting hot and red from being too close to this vent.

My boyfriend and I were very unhappy with our last trip on 07/30/2026. Our flight from Budapest was delayed by 1 hour and of course we missed your company's bus, which was leaving at 00.25 from Terminal 2. Then we had to buy new tickets and wait at the airport for the next bus. After waiting for the bus, my boyfriend and I sat in the very back seats, we were tired from the airport after the flight and the 6-hour wait for the bus. We sat at the end of the bus so we could rest in peace. The bus was not fully occupied by people, so we waited for everyone to sit down and then freely sat in the free seats at the very back. My boyfriend lay down on the 3rd seat, as his leg was very sore (it had been operated on earlier, but the pain is very strong when tired). A woman with a child sat in front of us. This woman had clear signs that she had a mental disorder. She shouted at her young son all the way and ran around the bus. The child ate sweets and cookies and threw them all under the seat. This woman was very aggressive. When the bus reached Cork and we started to pack up, she started shouting at my boyfriend that he took up 3 seats and slept the whole way, and in general that we were migrants and should go to our country (she said all this in a rude manner with obscene language). An argument broke out between them because my boyfriend made a remark to her to clean up the trash after her child, because there was really a lot of it there. This made her even angrier and she, for some unknown reason, attacked me and punched me in the face. Her child started crying loudly, and she shouted at the whole bus. Then my boyfriend defended me and started arguing with this woman and she hit him in the face with her forehead, breaking his lip and gum, blood gushed out. My boyfriend could not afford to hit a woman, and also with a child, so he just argued with her. When we got from the end of the bus to the beginning where the driver was standing and asked the driver if he could provide the CCTV footage to call the garda, the driver quickly finished disembarking the passengers, got on the bus and drove away without even talking to us. My boyfriend's front teeth were damaged, his gums and lip were broken, I have a bruise on my face, that's how our trip went. Also, we are very unhappy with the driver's actions, who simply quickly fled.

The toilet was out of order for a bus that was carrying fans back from the all ireland final, who would have had a few drinks of course.

It was good, the seats were comfortable, the price was also good, but autobus nr 40 from Waterford to Cork was chaotic, the timetable inside the transport was running late with bus stops and with the time of arriving on each one and we were trying to figure out it ourselves
