It was disappointing that the bus was late to leave from Sacramento and we missed an important meeting in San Fran. We had thought given Greyhound is a major company it would at least run on schedule, however sadly not only that it was 40 min late, the driver did not even apologise for the delay or communicated with us as to why he was late. We are visiting from Australia and missed an important meeting we had planned in San Fran.
The driver was clearly in a bad mood last night and had an attitude with customers. The bus was running 15 minutes late and the communication system was echoing strangely when announcements were made to update costumers.
On a more positive note the driver drive safely and we reached our destination
I was happy with my trip to San Francisco, but my return trip was poor. I took a front seat to enjoy the ride but instead i got upset, tge driver was driving very slow, hardly using the car pool lane, we reached Sacramento ay 627pm csusing me to miss my ride, he was also reading something from two sheets of paper while driving. I believe i will take the Greyhound bus again but that driver needs to be spoken to.
We bought tickets for the 11.30 bus from Sacramento to San fransisco, this bus no longer exists, we were only informed of this when we asked the staff, we were not notified ahead of time. We missed an important meeting because of this, I am very disappointed and frustrated with what happened to us today. We have travelled with greyhound previously but this is the first time using bus bud and not a good experience at all
Very rude security guard tried to confiscate my wine without my permission. Apparently, there is a fine print regulation saying not even sealed bottles of alcohol can be transported- not even under the bus. This was not obvious when booking tickets, but even more importantly, the security guard tried to run off with my wine bottle to a back room. While he certainly has the right to prevent me from taking wine on the bus, he does not have the right to confiscate it without my permission. I tried to tell him this, and instead of hearing me, he started yelling at me and threatening to tell the bus driver not to let me on the bus. Model customer service.
I suggest never taking Greyhound.
