The driver was having an argument with a passenger which lasted for 15-20 minutes. They held rest of the bus up. Even passengers onboard got agitated and started telling the driver to hurry up.
Even though we were at the terminal 15 minutes prior departure, our Bus never came. We got told by the staff that the Bus already left so we had to wait to the next bus and buy a new ticket
I wish some stations have better signage for departure, so travelers like me know where to find the bus because many of us do not understand the local language well.
The bus was late leaving cancun with no explanation as to where the bus was. Lots of people were very confused and left packed in to a small space trying to scramble for a bus
I meet the worst driver of my life, he was about to have an accident. I got the tickets wrong and he did not gave us the possibility to go to Tulum. We had to spend 50$ more than the price of the bus ticket because he literally left us in the middle of nothing with luggage and 35 degrees. Worst trip ever never traveling with this company again.
At the time of boarding, the worker told us that our bus hadn't arrived yet and to check 5 minutes later. When we checked 5 minutes later, he said our bus left and we missed it.
Very comfortable seats, very nice atmosphere but was super cold in the bus due to a/c. I had to wear my winter jacket to make it to Tulum. Other than that very satisfied with the journey!:)
Everything was great once we got on the bus. But there was an issue before that at the station - it seems the staff at the station can’t read the digital tickets. We arrived 15min before arrival but the staff told us we couldn’t board and had to wait. I checked again 2min before departure and they insisted we had to wait. 20min later they tell us we missed the bus. We had to buy new tickets because of this, which was super annoying. But we noticed the exact same thing happened to other people who also had digital tickets. Maybe there’s an issue with how the digital tickets are written that causes the confusion - or else the staff need to be talked to. But otherwise the actual bus trip was amazing and we would definitely recommend it!
I accidentally purchased a ticket online that was from Cancun central and not the airport, I was not able to transfer this ticket which would have been nice.
I have never been treated so rudely in my life. I missed the first bus because my plane was late so I simply nicely ask the bus driver if I could still use the ticket. He became angry at me and told me he would not take me that I had to go and buy a new ticket which I understand I need to buy another ticket but I explained to him I could do it online. He was very rude again and told me he would not take me and I explain to them I could not wait for the next bus because it would be so late. I am a lady traveling alone in a foreign country. After I purchased the new ticket online he told me to put my suitcase in the bus that he would not help me. When I try to put the suitcase in and I took too long he grabbed it and just threw it inside with no care. After this he and some other Ado employees were laughing about me. This is my first time in to do my come here and I spent a lot of money and I should never be treated this way. Carole
My 8:30 am bus from Cancun to Tulum never showed up, causing me to take the 9:10 am bus & share the seat with someone from the Playa del Carmen leg. I’m working while traveling & booked an early bus so that I can log onto work on time. Thankfully the staff was really nice & helpful. I love how clean & new the buses are, as well as the movies playing.
Don’t get a ticket to Tulum through Budbus. When I went to get onboard they said my ticket was only valid to Playa Del Carma, which it clearly stated it was to Tulum. I had to pay cash for a whole new ticket. Don’t waste your time or money. Buy a ticket at the station.
This bus is not at the airport and it did not tell me that. I only found out that after I asked where the bus was at the airport and found out that it was in town. What a waste of money. Not the way to start a vacation
Great bus company, it's the perfect way to get to Tulum from Cancun International Airport. It was on time, friendly staff and very affordable. ADO is everywhere and very easy to find. Recommended!
Good ride. Professional service. The only issue I had was the video that was playing was only in Spanish. It was an American film with Spanish dubbing. It would’ve been nice if it was subtitled in English. It was also fairly loud the entire trip so it was difficult to focus on relaxing or to listen to music in comfort.
Th bus journey from Cancun to Tulum went very smoothly. The driver was very good & careful.
However, it was a little difficult finding out exactly which bus was the one we were to board at the bus station. The screen inside the station told us the number of the bus we were travelling on, but didn't tell us which gate that bus was leaving from. No one we asked inside the station seemed to know?? I had to go out to the buses at the gates & ask at each one which was the bus going to Tulum. Nowhere on the ticket did it mention that we were taking the bus to Mahahuel which would stop Tulum en route to Mahahuel.
There was no announcement and the screen did not be show correct information so I Missed the bus. Gate man was incredibly unhelpful. Ticket staff were great 👍
