My bus had a 4+ hour delay. I had to cancel tickets to an event I had at my destination and went back home. Very disappointed in my experience and the fact that my ticket is non-refundable when I couldn’t even take it.
In the pass I was so dissatisfied.i had a bad experience during your shortage of drivers some years ago.dirty bus, smelling bus, late ...this time new bus, clean,on time keep up the great work
Bus was ‘delayed’ by about half an hour on the screen so we sat there relaxing watching tv waiting for time to board. It ended up leaving on time though which might have been stressful if we had left the premises and come back at the time shown on the screen. The seats were comfortable but a couple of other passengers stank to high heaven. Bus driver was informative with the stopovers and updates with time.
Nobody from the staff was helpful or tried to keep the passengers posted about how long the delay was, and what was the reason for it. Outrageous service.
Customer service was very nice, pleasant and warm. Miss Katrina went out of her way to make sure that my baggage, departure and arrival time was secure while I traveled.
The driver was nice. The airconditioning and internet , intercom and charging points didnt work . Overhead lights didnt work. We were seated near the toilets which smelt strongly of urine. We were delayed on the highway for about 2 hours due to an accident .
Part 2. The driver knowing the issues we were having with the bus felt comfortable having a conversation with a passenger who was a truck driver concerning her company pay, holiday work, hours per mile, missing weigh stations, ? Nothing that we need to hear, we were just hoping to make it to Memphis.
Would have been nice if the driver said something. I know it’s not a tour bus but hey, something would be nice. The bus also broke down. First the aircon stopped working then the bus. Driver eventually managed to get it started again.
Our original bus was ‘delayed’ - no explanation given. At the Nashville depot we were advised to arrive 30-45 minutes earlier than our bus time. We had our tickets, but we’re unaware we had to join a queue to check in our cases. We joined the queue at 0800 and were served at 0945. Had our bus been on time we would not have been able to check our cases in time to board. Another bus to Memphis arrived at 1025 and we joined it. The driver was excellent, (female with shaved head), and the trip to Memphis was spot on.
We were discussed with our Greyhound bus ride. Upon arriving at Nashville bus station, we were faced with a number of drug addicts bugging us for money and cigarettes. Once inside there was a strong smell of body odour and while on the bus there was a very strong smell of urine. We accept that this is a basic way of travelling America, however it’s not acceptable to be subjected to that level of hygiene. This has caused us to disregard our return tickets and cost us further expenses to our holiday.
The bus I was originally supposed to catch from Minnesota was cancel and push back so what I tried to push my ticket command from Nashville to Memphis could not get in touch with the station in Nashville i called all most fir 2 day and allthe phone does is ring
The most disappointing experience of our 17 days in Nashville and Memphis. Bus delayed 4 hours, customers given no updates or information, sat in hot, mosquito riddled station. We witnessed a disabled woman wet herself because she had to wait so long. In short, it's
a disgrace.
Staff at Nashville not informative and system confusing for customers calling a schedule number instead of destinations. Bus late on outward journey by 30 mins. Return journey was late and some passengers didn't even manage to get on! Felt like cattle not human beings! Overbookibg seems common practice which is totally unacceptable
A three hour delay is unacceptable and with no notice also the facility is not clean. There were not enough staff on hand to service the clients. The speaker system is an out of trouble. It appears there is simply no regard for quality service
6.45am bus was late by nearly an hour.. i had booked 5 returned tickets for 1.55pm back from Memphis. Whole purpose of going was to go to Graceland. My day was ruined. Didnt go atall with my family who travelled from Ireland especially to visit memphis. So disappointed. Never again
No wifi available or intermittent. No taxis available outside Memphis terminal. Haphazard information by staff for transport to city. Advised to call a cab from office and then advised we used wrong phone, that was for staff! Driver excellent.
Bus was in poor condition thru lack of maintenance. A/c was not very efficient which made the trip uncomfortable. The ride was poor due to poor shocks. There were many things in the cabin that needed attention.
The bus was broken, and we have to wait a couple of houers. The information was non! The busdriver was doing the best he could, he could not reach the triangels Claude IT was looken in. The passengers was taking care of eachother. I think the Greyhound headquarter should done more to support us!
