I never made it to my destination. The tire popped off and rim was so damaged it couldn’t be replaced. Waiting about 10 hours for nothing to be done. Plans were ruined.
Was there before the time of departure and there was no line and no bus. Waited at the gate that two different people told was the one were my bus was supposed to be. No show. A third person told me the bus left on time. Not true because I was there and the bus didn’t arrive and didn’t leave. Had to pay for a new ticket for the next bus
I received a text 1 hour 15 min prior to scheduled departure that the bus would be delayed 4.5 hours. I had to buy another ticket with another company to travel earlier. Not a reliable bus company.
We had to switch buses in Kingston NY, and we waited over one hour!! The station was closed and it was cold outside!! There was about 20 or so passengers waiting and it was late night. However staff was polite!!
I travel to Albany often & each time the driver is late. Which isn’t good I have timed visits at Albany hospital with my husband certain hours I need to be in attendance. Today I was able to see my husband got 2 hours. I had to cut my visit short because my return trip was at 3:30pm. This is totally a problem for me.
I am extremely satisfied with Greyhound, i have traveled several times in the last two months using Greyhound and the Driver is why I am so satisfied, he's very polite, always smiling, and always exceeds my expectations in getting me to my destination either ahead of time or right on time.
I have been using AdirondacksTrailways for years. The line is reasonably priced with good service. there are changes i am not happy with. Now if your have to change the bus time there is a $20 charge for the change. Also the holiday charges are now outrageous.
My trip was great. However, the driver was not friendly in person or over the mic. He spoke to the passengers like we were kids. He kept repeating himself and would yell words like “ lower”. He could have not stayed professional but do it in a nice manner.
The bus was packed and dirty. The seat in front of me was literally stitched together. I was sitting in the seat closest to the bathroom and the door kept swinging open. The bus stopped about 1 hour into our journey because the tires were over heating and we had to wait until they cooled down. We were stopped for close to an hour. I arrived at my destination shortly before 7 pm when I was meant to arrive at 5 pm. I was also uncomfortable the entire journey because the seats were uncomfortable.
Bus was an hour and 30 minutes late, and l think they oversold the trip., too many people. Also, the staff did not give any information to passengers about the ststus of the bus.
