Bus from Glasgow to Edinburgh: Tickets & Schedules

bought 2 bus tickets to edinburgh airport, got dropped off in a car park 20 minutes away after being told this was the stop at the airport and had to walk 20 minutes on the main road through roundabouts and traffic to get to the airport myself after paying to be brought to the airport

Stage was different than ticket. Bus stops several times on the way at hotel stops (where nobody gets in or out) and doesn’t go to the airport, but more than 10 minutes walk with heavy bags.

Not very good first it was late which it was fine secondly the bus didn’t leave us at Edinburgh Airport but left us 10 min away and we had to get a tram and pay an extra £15 for tram tickets which it was very disappointing

Easy to find where to wait. Helpful staff. Booked passengers pulled out of queue to board first. Comfortable journey and kept to time.

Trip was good but bus was 15 minutes late so not up to every 30 minutes as advertised.

Got to station to go on bus with a pre purchased ticket . I was told by the driver that the bus was full . I looked on the bus to find it half empty . Also I was told there was no room for large luggage . Fortunately another colleague came upon situation and he went to check back in the hold all luggage to find it half empty and loads of room for further customers. Had I not checked it out myself I would have missed my flight in Edinburgh airport and assumed what the bus driver was saying was correct . Obviously not the case.

The bus was never at the station and no departure boards showed where to go, I spent £20 total on tickets but both times the bus was nowhere to be seen, and no staff were available to show me where to go. I walked around the whole bus station looking but there wasn’t a single bus that matched the description of mine. I double checked the date, time, and bus station but nothing was wrong. I lost a lot of money which I need as a student.

The bus was 1 hour late but we pre-booked so we couldn't change to the other bus agency. Then as the bus arrived the divers complained why we waited for them as the citylink bus departs every 15 minutes from glasgow to Edinburgh. They were really unfriendly but anyway we took the bus and found it very unpleasant. The bus was almost empty but couldn't get rid if a certain smell something like babypampers. I felt sick from the smell after the 1 hour drive.

Rude staff (tattooed woman driver, with old man assisting). Bus was in very poor hygienic conditions, bad smells, dirty, with rubbish all over the place. Bad bad bad.
