I arrived minutes before 5am because my bus was supposed to leave at 6:05am and it got delayed to 7:10am and then 8:00am so I had to go back upstairs to get a new boarding ticket. Some staff were rude, others were friendly, they said they were short on drivers and everyone was upset due to the delays. After I finally got on the bus, It made an hour and a half stop to then catch another bus to my destination. VERY irresponsible!!! It was my first and last time traveling with this bus line!!!
We waited in line at Penn Station to board the bus for nearly 30 minutes. Staff was standing around, chatting, eating an apple, etc. The bus left nearly 25 minutes late and nobody bothered to communicate with the passengers. When we arrived in Philadelphia to transfer to the bus to Allentown, 3 different staff members all gave us incorrect information. As a result, we almost missed our bus to Allentown. That is pretty pathetic service. How does the staff not know which bus (or even which company) is leaving for Allentown at a specific time. Are they not given a daily itinerary? I also found it confusing that I booked through Greyhound but not all of the busses were Greyhound busses. It was not communicated at any point that we should be on the lookout for a bus from a different company.
I am honestly very disappointed. There were families with kids who waited for so long n bus turned up 4 hrs late. I booked my flight from New York to Allentown but I didn’t understand n I was not informed abt layover of 5 hrs at Philadelphia until I reached at the bus stop to collect my ticket . Holy moly I am just so mad
