Bus driver was friendly and courteous when boarding and during the trip. He did not put my bags onto the bus and did not remove them at my destination. This was not helpful because when I’ve removed my own bags from the bus baggage area I’ve bumped my head on the swing-up door. That hurts. The trip was uneventful which is the way it should be. A pouch in front of the seat to put stuff into (especially the cup holder) and a garbage bag would have made it a more pleasant trip as then I could have moved my essentials to it rather than keep them under the seat. The bus was very clean and tidy

The morning of my trip, I got an email saying my bus might not have the "offficial" FlixBus markings--but there are no signs or attendants at the terminal. The bus was supposed to leave at 11:30, and they made an announcement at 11:32 that the bus would be white and red, and leaving 15 minutes late. Ok, fine. I find the bus and get on. Oh, we have assigned seats--I’m in 20B, at the back, but it only goes up to row 15. Fortunately, there were plenty of available seats. I was in the last row, next to the bathroom, but I swear, all the riders brought leftover Thai, fish, or fried food for lunch. Maybe a statute about “allowable foods” should be considered. I made it to New York, but I can imagine a traveler with limited experience or understanding of English would have struggled significantly under these Circumstances.

There was country radio playing on the bus speakers the whole second half and a dude clapping along with the songs occasionally. Everytime I started to snooze the dude clapping would wake me up.

Terrible. The company oversold the bus and as a result we were not able to travel. This was despite seat numbers being allocated to our tickets. FlixBus did not provide any alternative travel arrangements (all other buses fully booked due to public transport strike!. The driver was not helpful and advised us to complain to FlixBus. We were forced to get a taxi from Eindhoven to Amsterdam as a result.
