The bus that picked us up was a random white truck. It rattled and had no AC so we were all super hot. The driver was weird and kept making me feel uncomfortable. We weren’t sure if the bus was even safe to be on the highway it was making so much noise and rocking back and forth. I would like my return ticket to be refunded. I will not be riding again.
The seats are very bad. I had a bad backache after such a long journey. Also, there were no specific seats assigned to the travellers it was just random. This is not fair for the travellers who are boarding the bus from the second stop or later. They always get the outside seats and all the good window seats are already take .
I have previously had good experiences on my bus trip to ottawa with book a ride but this time, my experience was very poor. The bus trip took significantly longer than was advertised. It took 7+ hrs to get to Ottawa from Toronto which was very uncomfortable. Additionally the power outlets weren’t working which was very disappointing.
Flat tire. Very little communication or apology made. Both ways of my trip were delayed by 1.5 hours. The ride to Toronto on Friday, more communication and more of an apology was made. To experience that twice in one weekend was extremely disappointing and frustrating.
We arrived 1.5 hours later than expected, and the driver left two people behind at our OnRoute stop as well as getting in a minor accident in the parking lot
The driver wasn’t patient enough to help me get off at the right stop in Ottawa of one of the two possibilities. He had already on his way to the next stop when I was finally able to find out on my ticket that I I should have got off at the first so he left me at a local bus stop and I had to walk back, which wasn’t easy as I am partly disabled and I didn’t exactly know where I had to go where someone was to be picking me up. I was treated disrespectfully.
Bus driver was very nice. We left union station at 3 45 pm on Thursday but due to construction, it was 5 pm when we left Toronto. This caused arrival time to be an hr later.
The bus was over 30 min late and then didn't stop at the exact location it was supposed to, causing me to miss it altogether. Very disorganized and disappointing
Horrible! The bus was freezing cold and the heater was not working. I am thankful for the trip but next time buses should be equipped to keep passengers warm, most especially during winter.
I enjoyed the actual ride. However the power source and the wifi weren’t working even though it was advertised as such and this impacted my ability to work remotely for 4 hours plus.
Awful. I blame the driver. 8AM Toronto to Ottawa April 19, 2023. Everybody was questioning him and made the ride very uncomfortable for not just myself but fellow trip-riders aswell.
The bus driver was so strict and rude when explaining the rules. Wouldn’t help with suitcases, told us repeatedly that he wouldn’t wait for us if we were late.
Super efficient and ride made as comfortable as possible - there is adequate space between people, outlets almost everywhere and bathroom access. Very good.
The driver missed a stop for a rider and angrily blamed her for it. The bus had to turn around and no responsibility was taken by the driver to inform other passengers what was happening leading to lots of anger and frustration on the bus.
I couldn't charge my phone because the plugs weren't working as well as the wifi. The driver fixed the plugs issue mid-way but not the wifi, and that's the reason why the bus arrived late to Ottawa.
Bus ride itself was alright. However, it’s stated that wifi is offered and if not you’ll be refunded, and there was none at all. The bus driver refused to do the routine 10 minute stop in Kingston even after protests from people saying they needed to take a break or use the restroom. Bud also left slightly late. The bus itself was clean and I appreciate that but I wasn’t happy with the service
