Very clean, comfortable and hospitable. The only annoying experience we had was regarding a passenger who talked very loud the entire bus ride. There needs to be a policy that states that just like Greyhound has.
I loved my trips this past weekend with OurBus. I was apprehensive of bus trip logistics for the big holiday weekend, but OurBus was so easy to book and the ride was so pleasant. The chilled waters were great, the bus driver was friendly, rude was relatively smooth and best of all, the bus was really really clean! I’ll definitely be using OurBus again
Honestly very pleasantly surprised! Atlantic City is a dump but tbh this is one of the most efficient bus rides I’ve ever taken. Left on time, arrived to NYC early. Only like 3 other people on the bus. Driver was the homie. Couldn’t be happier.
It was my first time using greyhound and it was an experience I'll never forget. I had a 2pm bus that I wasn't on until 3pm. The 12:45pm bus arrived at 2pm. The driver was very obnoxious and did not communicate effectively to the passangers. The driver of my 2pm bus wasn't bad at all very nice and smooth ride.
When I purchased my ticket online from Atlantic City to NYC I was not given any options to take Greyhound from Resorts Casino where I was staying. I had to take a taxi to the bus depot from the casino. I was annoyed when I noticed a message from Greyhound showing the schedule of their departures and saw that there was indeed a bus that left from my casino 15 minutes before the bus depot. The ticket agent at the bus depot told me I had to “know where to look for that option online” which really annoyed me. How was I supposed to know that? Really stupid from Greyhound. Took a taxi unnecessarily when I should not have done so.
We had an appointment in NYC at 10 AM. Bus was scheduled to arrive there at 8:25 AM. Should have been plenty of time. Had to 'run' 10 blocks to make it on time.
Our bus broke down and the driver did not give us any indication of why he was stopping. There was a bad smell inside the bus and I had to go outside to ask him what was happening in order to ensure we weren’t in any danger by staying in the bus. There was another employee on the bus who did not make any attempt to keep us informed either and was actually rude when I made inquiries. I appreciate that the driver was not prepared to deal with this but the passengers need to be informed as soon as possible.
Bus never showed at appropriate time. Greyhound Staff didn’t alert awaiting passengers of any delays or another means of transportation. Late arrival to New York. I would not recommend this bus route to anyone who has something important to do.
Horrible service! I arrived at the Greyhound Station in Atlantic City at 6:50 to leave at 7. I was told the “driver couldn’t be located” and because of that, I had to take the 8 am bus. I was offered zero apology or sympathy considering this made me OVER AN HOUR late to work. Greyhound staff offered zero help or any resolution I.e, a discount, free snacks, etc. This scheduling lapse on Greyhound’s part caused me to miss a very important work meeting. I will NOT be choosing Greyhound anytime soon and will instead bring my business to Amtrak where I trust reliability and ACCOUNTABILITY are a priory. I’m thoroughly disgusted with this travel experience.
Nice trip and excellent customer service. Bus is late due a traffic jam on the way. Only one concern, I tried to move the departure due an emergency and the cost of the transaction is as the same cost of my ticket. Very inflexible and not open to understand why I have to due the change. Actually I am going to used the services frequently and a better flexibility are needed.
The bus was cancelled. We were reissued tickets for the next bus--but it wouldn't work for me because I would miss my bus connection at Port Authority. I had to find alternative means to get home from AC.
No one was at the ticket desk to collect our tickets because they were gone to bally's. Once on the bus we had to sit in the back by the restroom which had not been cleaned out and the smell was horrendous. I felt nauseous the whole journey and my clothes smelled like urine once I got home. Very unenjoyable trip.
Dont advertise wifi if it doesnt work. It did not work on the first trip, but not on the second. On the return trip the Wifi worked but the sockets did not.
The buss was supposed to departure at 7:15 pm and at 8 pm we started to go but before that the driver went to pickup “another driver” at one garage, so we lost time. Everybody started to complain about it and the guy that we picked up started to fight and yelled, saying that we have to thanks him because if it wasn’t for “his buss” we stand on the rain. Was super disrespectful and inappropriate for one staff member. We paid for be on time and have a nice trip to NYC, back to home. But it was really awful.
I went to the greyhound station to get my ticket printed out from a staff member. I talked to the staff member and told her that I have a confirmation number and would like my ticket to get printed. Instead of the staff member using the confirmation number and listening to me, she told me that I needed to show her more information, since this was my first time booking through bus bud, I looked through the app to find her a copy of the ticket (which I didn't have ) but she indicated that she wanted me to show her "something"as she was busy fixing her section and complaining about what some customers did, I stood there confused and then she took notice and asked me to look for a pdf. I know I didn't have one but I made the attempt to look for it, since I couldn't find it I shook my head, then she asked where the confirmation number was from and I told her 'Bus Bud', and she finally printed out the ticket. This is why she gets a 1. A picture of her face happens to be on the wall of the station under the words "Greyhound Cares"maybe she's a manager? Very ironic. She was more focused on complaining about other things to another staff member and ordering me to look for things I didn't have rather than taking time to properly assist me.
Greyhound has repeatedly provided questionable service. The location that that bus was supposed to come was different from where I was directed. I almost missed the bus because I had to walk two blocks to Bally's to catch the bus when that was not the indicated location. Then when I got there, they said we "lucked out" with getting a seat on the bus as there were only 50 seats. I don't understand why Greyhound overbooks. If I am paying for a bus ticket at a certain time, I should be guaranteed a seat on that bus that I paid for.
The worse experience ever. I would not even give a 1 star if I have choice of zero. After a while waiting for the bus, we figured out there would be no bus as they did not have a driver! They did not even bother to let us at least know ahead of time. I would never ever travel with Greyhound
The driver was extremely professional and customer service savvy. He had to work with what he had, meaning, the bus was in not so great condition, it was extremely warm. Besides those issues my experience was good
They gave insufficient information and told us seats are reserved and the not they also did tell us we have a better chance at the casino it’s winter time we waited outside in like it was very unprofessional
Hate travelling with Greyhound. There is always something wrong with the buses. They say that they have Wifi when it doesn't even work. Always have had to wait atleast 2 hours for the bus. They never specify where the bus is leaving from.
The bus arrived shortly after 5 p.m and pulled out around 5:23. I wondered about the time since it was supposed to leave at 5:30 but it worked for me to get to NYC a little earlier.
I had a very unpleasant experience with Greyhound heading back to New York City from Atlantic City on 8/17. My ticket was for 11:30am, and I was unable to board a bus until 2:30pm due the buses being overbooked. I waited in a line in a garage in the 90 degree heat for 3hrs. When I had finally made it to the front of the line, I was almost unable to board the bus because of the irate nature of the crowd. Some people had started accusing others of budging ahead in the line. The greyhound workers and the casino security were unsuccessful in diffusing the situation, and the police ended up being called. I was very anxious for my safety and thought I was going to be unwillingly drawn into a violent situation. The trip itself went smoothly, but everything that happened prior was completely unacceptable. Greyhound needs to re-evaluate some of their business practices and make some major changes, especially in regards to overbooking and timeliness. Ticket times need to be enforced, or there needs to be more buses available for each time slot. As it stands now, I would strongly discourage others from using this bus service and would not use it again myself.
