Bus Tickets from Washington, DC, US to New York City

The toilet was clean. The journey was smooth. There was airco. There was no music. All the above are things I appreciate. The driver was helpful enough albeit not forthcoming with info like- which stops will be where or when arrived.

Mostly good service, however the bus driver did not know where the stops were, people on the bus had to direct him where to go. Feels incredibly unprofessional and meant we were driving around one town in circles, which led to us being late.

It was not very good. First, my bus time was change a day before and it didn’t work with my schedule, so I had to call their customer service couple of times to reschedule. Secondly, the bus was way too cold and passengers were frozen. I asked the bus driver to rise a temperature a little, but she didn’t listen to me. Thirdly, the buss was 1.5 hours late to arrive at NY. I had to cancel and reschedule my daughter’s harp lesson at the conservatory. I had horrible experience and will not use Flix Bus anymore.

It was a great trip. I was able to sleep well and the driver did a great job. Thanks for asking.

Today was not a good day. I arrived on time for the bus, it was late by One Hour and Fifhteen Minutes. This delayed destroyed my visitation plans to see my two sick brothers in the city.

My trip was scheduled to start at 1:45 am but the bus did not come on time and I had to take the bus at 3:15 am, which was not good. I felt terrible.

Extremely comfortable! And if someone was on speaker or played music too loud or disturbed others, Driver was quick to put a stop to it. I have never had a problem when I travel with Peter Pan bus service. They are so friendly and courteous.

The ride quality was fine the problem was the driver she was 1 hour late to the destination

Peter Pan is truly the most Unreliable method of transportation. The bus didn’t show up at 5am as scheduled forcing me to take alternative method of transportation.

This was my first trip with BestBus. The drivers were helpful, kind and polite. Everything went smooth. I will not hesitate to use their services again.

Did not enjoy that it took 5 hours and not 4 hours as advertised, and people reserving seats with bags they did not use.

better if have earlier time, 2 times per day was not suit my need but your customer service is very responsive

Horrible, bus driver was just too new. He was running off the road on i95 and then didn’t know his bus was 12’ tall and tried to go through an overpass with 11.6’ clearance.

I enjoyed the drive in every aspect except the lack of internet. Please provide connectivity.

October 20, 2025: Today, the 1:30 pm bus from Washington DC to New York, NY was delayed by 1-1/2 hours. Although the pick up location (a gas station) was out in the open with no seating area, when the bus finally arrived the driver was rather unfriendly and made no apology for the delay. It was unclear if he had a good command of English since he said very little and mostly grunted at passengers. The trip was further delayed because the driver made a wrong turn when approaching the Deleware Bridge and the bus had to head back southwards to correct the error. The airco was blasting which made the 5 hour ride very uncomfortable; most passengers kept their coats on for the duration of the trip. Since it was a relatively warm October day, I believe that it was colder in the bus than it was on the outside. There was no wifi on the bus a standard amenity on most buses these days. A number of passengers were speaking on their cell phones throughout the trip using foul language. While I can't really blame the driver for the obscene language, I believe that the company should have a policy to announce at each stop that foul language will not be tolerated on their coaches under any circumstances. I think that the company should offer all passengers on this ride a discount voucher for their next trip with the company.

The ride was a bit longer than expected. The bus was late but at least there was covered area to wait in the rain. The bus was clean except for the bathroom which was very disgusting to be honest. The driver was pleasant and did a great job getting us safely to our destination.

The bus was delayed over an hour it was freezing cold outside waiting for it! . No reason a bus should state the time it’s coming and not arrive on that time . YALL GOTTA DO BETTER ! People won’t always be able to afford another one.

Bus was late, the outlets didn't work to charge cells, no sanitizer in the restroom, the driver spoke on the phone thru his headset throughout the trip, and the bus got to NYC much later than scheduled.

We were picked up 70 minutes to late and dropped of in New York City at 12pm instead of 9:30am as we should have

the bus was old and run down . It smelt of marijuana and the bus driver could not drive very well

Nothing to be enjoyed. We left an hour late from DC after sitting in a packed train with no AC in 85 degree heat. Another half hour wait in Philly. No announcements or explanations.

I enjoyed the cleanliness and friendly staffs. Searing for seats since it was an open seat needs an improvement

Weak WiFi, cold in the train, delay schedule. In other cases everything was nice!
