Bus was almost 3 hours late. A window broke on the journey, and we had to travel through the night with a damaged bus. Couldn't sleep. Because of the lateness, I missed a very important meeting
Very comfortable! The arrival was about 90min late, but with a 21h bus ride, I expected the arrival time to be a little off, so I was fine with that. The seats were extremely comfortable, the ride was pleasant, and they provided plenty of food. I will definitely recommend this to friends and family.
The bus was aged a bit. Updating or remodeling needed. The ride was smooth, however. The TV monitors show three movies in Spanish with the volume up. The plugin earphone outlet is not available. No charging outlet, either. The air conditioning was on throughout the trip. Everyone seemed cold. I asked once for the crew to do something about it. I think he did not understand English. So, I put on more clothing like everyone else. As I said the bus was old.
This was the worst trip I've ever taken in my life. The bus got to the terminal 5 hrs late, then was literally 95 degrees inside since the air conditioner was broken. They didn't fix the air conditioner until my friend passed out from the heat and had to be carried off the bus. The replacement bus then broke down about an hour later and we had to switch buses again. The trip ended up taking around 30 hours. It was supposed to be 18.
The bus showed up 3 hours late with no explanation. The bus subsequently came without air conditioning and was over 30 degrees Celsius. We then had to switch to a different bus which broke down after about 30 minuets. Arrived in Santiago over 10 hours late.
Horrendous. Bus arrived 3 hours late, no air con. A passenger actually passed out because it was so hot! Changed buses. Horrendous food. Entertainment didn’t work. Arrived at our destination 10 hours late! Would never use again.
The bus was quite old fashioned compared to other buses we have travelled on in South America, no usb point to charge our phones was a nuisance, the bus arrived 6 hours later than scheduled and we were only provided with one hot meal and a sandwich. For that period of time was not good enough
My trip with Ahumada Internacional was one of the best bus trips I have taken anywhere in the world! The staff was so kind and thoughtful, went out of their way to make sure I knew what was going on (Spanish is not my first language), and the bus itself was quite comfortable. Absolutely will use Ahumada Internacional again.
The staff member wrote 63 A75 700 on my ticket and pointed to 63. What he actually meant was that I should look at all the buses arriving ranging from lanes 63 to 75. This was not made clear to me and I therefore missed my bus.
Unfortunately it took 25 hours to get to Santiago from Buenos Aires when the advertised elapse time on the ticket was only 18.5 hours. There were no unforeseen delays on the trip apart from the border control which took 2 hours however I would expect that time to have been factored in. Thankfully I still made it in time to catch my flight out of
Santiago. I don't think I will consider bus as a travel option on future trips
