Absolutely useless, postponed 4 hours before the trip to the next day and have not sent a new ticket and refuse to answer the phone
First of all, the driver and the conductor were purposfully late by about 2 hours. Secondly, stalled the trip on purpose till seven o'clock so they could overload the bus. The bus was supposed to leave Belleville at 3:20 pm but instead left at 9:pm. They kept on stopping by the side of the road for no apparent reason. They constantly went over speed limits in trying to make up for lost time.
Theeeee worst bus ever ,bus was supposed to leave Cape Town at 6:40 on the 1st of December 2023 to arrive 10:00 2 December….ladies and gentlemen it is now 15:03 2 December and we are still on our way to JHB
Nonsense ye bus le guys no matter how cheap it is please refrain.
I wish I never took this bus,it arrived late even on the the pickup station by 3 hours. And it operate like a taxi along the way. It picks up everyone on the hiking spots even when it is full. Some had to stand up on their feet for more than 10 hours cos they didn't have seats. They charged me R100 for luggage that wasn't even weighing 20kg. Some we're not charge thou they had lots of luggages. It took me 22hours to travel a distance that was supposed to be 17 hours as stated by them on the ticket. It is cheap but it comes with extra cost when boarding the bus. This bus is a nightmare, I have seen it all but this one is the worst one.
The bus was 4 hours late, The worst travel experience I've ever had, the driver was rude when we asked questions about the bus. It didn't stop at proper detours, but went to shady garages where we couldn't use the toilets. We were charged ridiculous prices for our languages, I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy!!!
My experience with FGERTSE was really bad and horrible. I didn't enjoy a single moment the bus was supposed to depart in Cape Town at 1pm (Fri) and arrive in Johannesburg at 3am(Sat) but the bus ended up departing at 8pm and arrived at 5pm and the service was so bad no communication was given to me about the bus being late or delaying. In the office the lady also gave me poor service as she told me that she has no phone to help me with contacting management I was so disappointed with the service I got and I wasn't impressed at all. Iam never ever gonna take this bus ever in my life.
Very extremely disappointed with the bus service. It is very cheap but so is their service. Departure delayed for almost 6 hours and the bus came with an empty tank of fuel and they fill up in eome dodgy station way of the route, without informing passengers.
Not only was departure late, but the staff was extremely unprofessional, the bus has the most unpleasant odour, the heat is cranked up to a point where every one in the coach is complaining. The driver blasted music when people were trying to sleep and finally when we get to joburg we were dumped on the side of the road instead of at park station like our tickets state. 0/10 I would never ever suggest anyone to book this bus ever
Firstly the bus did not leave on schedule and did not use the route it was supposed to.When we got to park station we where told the keys for our laggage where left behind with one of the employees in Bloemfontein we had to wait two hours for them to find solutions..Bus No. Cy 223-673 was the worst with rude staff on top of that.
Disrespectful staff. Very unprofessional. Very poor customer services, they we're late and made me miss my second bus which caused more expenses on my side because I was left stranded in joburg. They did not care to assist or cared about my safety. I would not recommend ff gertse to anyone.

The type of bus is not for such a long trip.I was scheduled to arrive 10am I am still on the road.Not time conscious
15h00 bus was shifted to 18h00 bus which left the station only at 19h30 because of the commotion that was happening there. It was discovered that yesterday’s people must be the first to board since their bus was cancelled because of that I merely made it onboard.
Their customer service is terrible, from the ground staff/there’s no one who knows anything about the bus schedule. Greedy for peoples money and don’t care about the customers at all. False departure times give out. Online there’s different times compared to the time they have at the bus station. A 3pm bus doesn’t exist with Ffgertse, because it will only leave at 7pm late. So be careful when booking this bus!
I got home alive, I enjoyed that. I already stated my story, from late departure and arrival, worse treatment, people standing from JHB to CPT, Charging ports not working.
They operate without transportation permits. They get stopped and impounded by police and call another unlicensed bus to come rescue and get impounded again. 17 hours trip turned out to be 3 days trip
The bus was impounded and we still haven’t received any assistance 3hrs on. Peoples lives are in jeopardy. This is shameful and sad. Let’s do better for our people.
The bus was supposed to leave 03:00pm but delayed until 05pm and there's no communication, suppose to arrive 07:00am in Johannesburg but the bus arrived 15:00pm, what a poor service
First the bus was late and there was no explanation given to passangers, then the bus was four hours late compared to the expected arrival time. Upon arrival to Jorbug the bus broke down there was no communication to passengers and no means made to ensure that customers arrived to parkstation, we ended up paying out of our own pockets.
