Very comfortable journey except for the loud movies playing the whole way over the speakers. NOt sure why this needs to be done given that there is personal entertainment on the seat back which was good
The bus was very clean. The staff was very friendly. The bus was on time and arrived early to my destination. However the bus was terribly cold. Made my ride uncomfortable.
Our bus was d parts close to 2 hours after it's scheduled time. No one could tell us a definitive time on when our bus was going to arrive at the terminal for us to board. This caused us to miss our flight to Cusco.
Several people removed their masks and face shields as soon as the driver closed the door. I took photos i will be publishing in the coming days. People need to know they are not safe on your buses.
The service was good, but there are a lot of room for improvement.
- Food needs to be improved (oltursa has better food)
- No information of the need to byo headphones was given (we were allowed to borrow a pair from the guy in charge of service 👍)
- Bathroom only offered possibility to do nr 1.
-No blankets were offered
This was the best bus I have ever been on. The station at Ica was so well organised. The Lima station needs more structure, everyone was just rushing around. But the bus was amazing!
There is no information on the check in procedure. We struggled with this as we do not speak Spanish. We went to one counter who told us to go the VIP section. We stood in a long line in the VIP section to be told that we did not have to check in and we gave them our bags when we boarded the bus. We were also told to wait and board the bus at the gates when called. The gates were not labelled and there were multiple buses in the terminal so we asked a third person where to go after 20 minutes and two check In Counters later. The third staff person pointed out the gate and bus. No mention of the process at booking is made nor is there any clarity at the bus station. This created a frustrating experience for us.
Generally good service. Wasn’t completely clear where we were supposed to wait for our bus in the terminal, maybe more information on the ticket/confirmation email would be helpful.
It was a little late due to traffic in Lima.
There was no USB charger that I could see
The TVs were on quite loud
Smoothy journey. Nice juice provided.
The staff on the bus were great and the seats were very comfy but the bus arrived 45 minutes late to Lima, causing us to miss our flight to Cusco. Very frustrating and annoying.
I have written the company. They were 50 minutes late boarding. They were rude and told us at check-in that we no longer has the seats 2-1 and 2-2 that we reserved with explanations that made no sense. When we did sit down there was garbage, the blankets were dirty and there was food on the seat.
There was only one seat left when I made the booking, while in reality the bus was half empty. For the rest Cruz del Sur was good as always, although they seem to think they are in the airplane business instead of bus transport and take that a bit too seriously, like filming all the passengers before boarding... Why?
Nice company, never arrive on time. Very strange system when handing out the bags. No space for waiting passengers. Nice seats in buss with nice meals.
We took a bus from Ica to Lima (Peru), the bus was coming from another town and would stop in Ica to drop and pick up some passengers. First the bus were late, the attendant told us it would take approximately 1h more to arrive amd suggested to take another bus that would arrive Lima later than the original one, so we decided to not take, because waiting for 1h we would not arrive more late than the suggested one. Second the bus was late for almost 2h! Other words, if she had told us the bus would be more than 1h we supposed to take the suggested one, but she didn't tell. Third, when we took the bus, our seats were disgusting, it was dirty and with rubbish from the old passengers. Fourth, the bus attendant was very unhelpful, she just trow the food on our face and were unfriendly...
