Good service clean bus
The first male bus driver was very rude, he shouted to me when I tried to put my baggage at Coach station. When it stopped at 12.30pm in the first stop, the passenger in front of me got off and I changed to sit there. The driver returned and asked me to sit somewhere else and put his suitcase on my seat. Again, this is absolutely rude as he had already reserved two seats in the third row but didn’t take it. Then he smoked outside, when he came back, the coach was driven by a lady and he kept chatting with the lady driver. It was too dangerous to chat all the way through and annoying as all passengers were mostly tired and asleep. The lady driver finally arrived late in Nottingham. The coach has CCTV and so the company can review it. The driver is not qualified at all and it is ashamed to have him to serve.
comfy and pleasant. will use again
Everything was good except the time. We arrived at our destination 2 hours late. This caused terrible problems to us. The Drivers were excellant.
Usher at LHR was not nice :( bus was veeeery cold. Otherwise trip was excellent.
I have no problem with the coach itself, nor the staff. My coach however, was supposed to arrive in Nottingham 45 minutes before it did. I had allowed for a fluctuation of 15 minutes or so, what with traffic and the unpredictability of the road, I figured National Express had probably factored in some time for that too, So I was disappointed and surprised that the coach turned out being 50minutes late despite no major unusual traffic issues. I know the routes well and differed on a couple of road choices between Leicester and Nottingham, pretty sure we could have gotten to Nottingham a little quicker than we did. Made my evening a stressful one after being made to miss my next bus which was the last one on its route, resulting in me having to spend a fortune on a taxi to get to my final destination. Very frustrating, whilst I understand the roads can be unpredictable, I think that a more realistic, real-time, updated ETA would have been helpful from the beginning.
Could not ask for better. Will use again.
The bus left Heathrow about 30 min late, and arrived in Nottingham 90 minutes late, which meant that I disrupted the evening plans of my host and friends. This is the second time I’ve taken this bus you’re and last time we were arrived 45 min late. I will not be using this service again - this is very disrespectful to your passengers.
It is a very good service!
lovely service from staff. Bus was very creeky but ok
Good, delay due to road accident
The staff were very helpful and so cheery and friendly which made our trip so much better.
Really comfy, plenty of space, really appreciate the bus driver for moving my suitcase.
Great customer service! On time leaving Heathrow and on time arriving in Nottingham
Late might be due to traffic
Good team work... and executing good job
Took too long
The loading of baggage and riders on the bus was very unorganized and not made better by a short-tempered and frankly rude driver - he did not call out nearly loudly enough that Nottingham riders were to be boarding first, and got visibly frustrated by people coming up to the front of the queue that were going to other places. He also seemed frustrated by how many bags everyone had, but we were at the airport, so that should be expected. Additionally, a wheel broke off my suitcase, and I cut my hand on the case taking it out of the storage space.
I will never get a national express coach again. I was meant to get 1 coach from Heathrow to Nottingham but instead had to end up getting 3 busses as mine was cancelled. I was told that i would have to get one from Heathrow to Luton airport then when i got there they said i would have to wait for the next one to Milton Keynes then get another one to Nottingham. This added an hour and 10 minutes onto my journey after a very very long flight i did not need this at all. No one knew what was going on or what they were doing in terms of putting the 8 of us on the right bus and the drivers were not informed of the change either. Absolutely appalling service. Will not be using again.
My flight landed earlier than expected so tried to catch the bus prior to the one booked from Heathrow. Unfortunatly the staff told us that was not possible on the tickets that we had. The temperature on the bus felt cold, however that may have felt that to us only as we had been travelling for 24 hours from Colorado. The timing of arrival was faultless considering the traffic on the M1 and in Leicester city centre.
It was a bit chilly and the toilet was a bit smelly
Terrible, the bus was two hours late with Little to no information or compensation of any sort.
Very good. I will use the services again in future
My wife and I arrived Heathrow T4 Stop 21 at 9.45AM to catch a 10AM bus to Nottingham. A bus arrived at at 9:55 with a display BRADFORD on its front and side and I did see a woman exchange a few words with some people around there and the bus left. We waited until 11AM and there was no bus to Nottingham. I walked across to the ticket booth to enquire if the service was cancelled. A woman there simply said we'd missed our bus and that the bus to Bradford was also going to Nottingham! How on earth does Bradford mean Nottingham? She said she told the people there that the bus would also go to Nott. It was crazy. How could I have figured that she was having such a discussion when it was not a public announcement that she made. Moreover, it wasn't yet 10AM. I recall we specifically asked this same woman when we came out of the airport if we could catch a bus to Nottingham at that stand and she said yes. How did she forget we asked? We we practically rushed out of the plane to catch this bus so as to be in Nottingham by 3pm for an appointment. We ended up buying another ticket as for 94 pounds and waited until until 12:30 pm on a wet and cold day before boarding a "Bradford" bus to Nottingham. The worse was not yet over. This was not the direct service we'd read about before choosing to ride the National Express. The bus stopped at every UK airport and drove us to Leicester after the driver radioed for a another driver to take over from him. We waited another 20 mins at Leicester and arrived Nottingham after almost 6 hours. This was my worse bus service on the planet!
First time making use of the service. The bus service staff are helpful and courteous
Very polite and helpfull driver, always watching out the baggages during the stops.
