The staff at the bus station had no idea what to do with the bus vouchers for our trip. We do not speak Portuguese so were not able to understand what the problem was. After numerous phone calls and sending pictures of the vouchers and computer screen to someone, we were finally issued boarding tickets 45 minutes after we arrived at the counter inconveniencing ourselves and at least 20 people in the line behind us. We made the bus with only a few minutes to spare. We realize that the vouchers are written in English but have never experienced a problem with them in the past. At the next bus company where we had vouchers the whole process took less than 3 minutes. It is important that staff at all of your partner companies are trained to recognize the vouchers and know what to do with them.
