There was no soap inside the bus bathroom, nor hand sanitizer. It's not okay or responsible with Coronavirus to not offer a way to wash hands. That bus is full of international people in a confined space. Your company is being negligent.
This was the only bus company we used during our Patagonia trip that didn’t provide a smooth and pleasant experience. We arrived more than an hour late and the driver was blasting loud music for the entire ride.
This was pretty uneventful which is the way I like traveling from place to place to be. Departure and arrival were close enough to on time. I loved that the windows were clean because the scenery was beautiful.
Bus was late due to border crossing. Staff was friendly and professional and the bis was clean and comfortable. In fact, the bathroom on this particular bus was the cleanest I have encountered in South America of any bus.
Generally satisfied. I didn't like approach of the employees who told us day before departure, that we need printed ticket. We were able to find hotel /not one where we stayed/ where we printed tickets and next day I saw many people, who came just with electronic tickets and it was not a problem!!
All good, apart from late departure hence late arrival. We just made it to the airport as we had to catch the flight. The flight was delayed as well so not a problem. The two staff on bus are extremely professional and helpful.
It was a good bus trip. There were 2 drivers and one of them helped up with the border crossings which was very good. Unfortunately border control coming into Chile took a long time which is why our bus was late.
Compared to other bus journeys in Argentina and Brazil this was a lovely journey. Initial confusion about having to pay a ridiculously minor tax charge before getting on the bus and the normal extra charges for printing tickets for those unorganised people (me) aside the journey went well. The seats were comfortable, the bus was clean especially the toilet and the driver was smooth. The transfer into Chile was easy and I always assume a slightly late bus which isn’t ideal but comes with the territory. Overall a good journey.
This is a luxury bus. I thought it was a bus with pigs and farmer goods. It is the best bus I ever ride on. Better than any US bus I had. It is like business class.
nice bus - excellent staff - they worked really hard handling luggage, immigration and guests - they were VERY organized in getting everyone sorted. They also slowed for big bumps to make the bus better
The bus was extremely uncomfortable, with customers in front reclining their seats so that we had no legroom whatsoever. The air conditioning wasn’t switched on until we arrived at the Chilean border so the entire inside of the bus was steamed up with condensation making it impossible to see out the window. I am 4 months pregnant and this made me feel quite uncomfortable and ill. The toilet had no soap or running water to wash hands after use. To top it all off the bus was late.
Overall very happy with service. Late departure was due to waiting for passengers. Late arrival was due to delays at the border. So beyond Cootra's control.
There is no communication from your side to the passengers. 2 borders were closed and only 1 was operating on this day. The staff all knew but there was no warning for us as passengers. We wasted 5 hours. We had not enough water or food with us. Bus sur should of packed additional water for passengers even if we had to pay for it. The staff did not tell us anything all the way. Communication on your services is terrible.
The driver was excellent and managed to skilfully avoid potholes and other road hazards. He drove at a safe speed.
The bus was delayed at the borders as 2 buses arrived there at the same time - delaying both Argentine and Chilean processing. .
Overall it took an extra hour as a result.
It was a good experience. We arrived an hour late to Puerto Natales, but it's because of the lines at customs. Don't think there's much anyone can do about it, though... Will still ride the bus again because of the amazing scenery throughout the ride.
The service was ok overall... There were entertainment TVs which were not used. The staff also were not very clear about the customs and passport procedures which was frustrating
Overall it was comfortable, but we were late by one hour because we stood on the Argentinian border for 1:30 with no apparent reason, and the luggage guy sort of demanded tips because he claimed he doesn’t get paid. Pretty annoying. In addition there wasn’t a coffee/snack which is pretty common in this kind of rides
They were ok
They didn’t know for example that it’s possible to enter Chile with cheese if it is very well packed in nylon. They gave me an advice to throw it and it was wrong!!!
