Bus arrived 40mins late at São Paulo to pick us up and then arrived at Rio bus station 3hours later and would not let passengers off midway when people walking was quicker
Bus showed up on time, but didn't leave for some reason until long after everyone was settled. Then we were about five hours late to our destination. Almost double the estimated trip time. When we arrived we were told to take a different bus than the one our hostel recommended because it was late and the other one was unsafe at that time of night. Made the trip a lot more of a hassle for us. Also the A/C was very weak.
Best bus driver ever, super helpful and explained about Rio a lot. The bus was also extremely comfortable, good temperature, and a nice lunch spot during the trip.
Great service. A bit delayed by traffic but really comfortable journey, free water, clean toilet and a lunch stop along the way.
Couldn't of been a better experience
Yes , the bus was late but that was offset by being a comfortable bus with big seating space , legroom and clean toilet . I also appreciated the ice water provided for free on the bus
Although the bus left and arrived a bit late, the general experience would have been the best bus trip i have ever experienced except for a fellow traveller's mishap. The nauseating smell meant the last two hours was quite unpleasant, and I would've wished the bus to be cleaned or emptied before we continued. The seats were simply delightful; they were the best I've ever sat during any of my travels, bar none.
At the beginning, when they landed, they gave me a ticket with number 52 which was not on the bus and was forced to be on the street until everyone entered the bus, but after my requests to find out and find my place no one responded I had to take other places, although I chose these places! Then I and all the other passengers were very cold on the bus, at my request to change the temperature the driver did not change the temperature and we continued to freeze for 6 hours, now I feel ill!
The bus was very comfortable and the staff lovely the one thing I would regret is the voucher that we need to get at the station, I would have preferred a digital check in or to directly print my reservation. Apart from that the trip was smooth, good wifi and we arrived at destination safely.
