When we got on the bus we looked for our seat numbers but we were surprised to see that they were already occupied. Everybody on the bus told us that the seats were free to choose and not assigned so it was quite unpleasant to have to fight to take our numbered seats.
Fabulous service in a sparkling new coach. We had a very comfortable ride to Segovia with no problems. We were early returning and they reissued another ticket to accommodate us. They were so kind at the Segovia office.
The bus was on time both departing and arriving but it was a bit difficult to find where to board the bus (i.e. the gate did not match the gate listed on the ticket and for one of the legs of the trip the bus driver pulled into a different gate than the one we were told to wait at by the avanza staff in the ticket office.. so we almost missed the bus).
The bus rides to and from Madrid - Segovia were really nice. The buses were clean. The drivers were approachable and professional. On the way to Segovia, the driver seem to be having trouble with his box monitor (printing receipts) that he kept knocking at it for a time. It looked like it kept turning off.
Excellent customer service! Big clean bus & staff at moncloa put me on earlier bus as l arrived with plenty time for original 10.15am departure giving me more time to explore Segovia. Looking forward to rest of my bus trips now!
