We had booked a one-way ticket from Arequipa to Copacabana, but we were informed that the journey would be split into two separate trips. On the first leg, the bus had no heating, so it was extremely cold. In addition, the bus was quite old, and the suspension was very poor, making the ride extremely uncomfortable. After enduring the freezing conditions on board, we then had to wait for two hours in Puno at 6 a.m. in very cold weather for the second bus.

The bus itself is nice, reclines 160°. But the ticket online was wrong, I was supposed to have a direct bus to my destination, but at the bus station they told me they have no direct busses there so clearly the online ticket is wrong.

Overall enjoyed our journey but a few things could be improved. Firstly, we weren't told that we had to tranfer busses en route. Secondly, we weren't told that we had to pay a 3sol each bus terminal tax in Arequipa and another 1.90sol each when we made our connecting route from Puno to Copacabana. The staff at both Arequipa and Puno bus terminals were not very friendly and they didn't speak English. Our bus terminal in Arequipa was different to the main terminal.
