Very clean bus, nice staff. Something odd about the 'breakfast': we woke up at 06.30u and the bus-guy said we missed breakfast. Sounds a bit too early for breakfast on a bus that arrives at the final destination at 13.30h.
The bus took 41/2 hours than scheduled. No information or reason was given to us - we lost half a day in Bariloche which we had planned to use to book trips for our time in bariloche
It’s need to keep more maintenance for the coach coz the UBS charger can not use and the window curtains do old and dirty !
But the staffs are great and good service !
Seats were comfortable and the staff were friendly, but the toilet didn’t have any paper and it was disgustingly dirty. The food was terrible and no choice given.
Really comfortable and staff were helpful. Dinner provided was tasty (chicken, pasta, bread roll and dessert). Aircon was good but maybe a bit too warm near the end of the trip. Movies shown were okay. Wish there was wifi on-board.
I’d definitely recommend travelling with Cata. We went from Mendoza to Bariloche overnight. The staff were always attentive, the bus was clean, seats were super comfortable and we were only in semi cama. The food was also above the normal “bus food” standard and there was plenty of it. The only issue was that they advertise WiFi and there wasn’t any on the bus. Other than that it was great.
The bus was old, the fabric smelt and space was limited. Either stuffy or cold and there were much better cata international buses departing from the terminal. Bus driver was safe, hostess ok it was more just the general bus.
Bus did not arrive on time, but there seemed to be no significant delays (accidents, road closures, etc.) along the way, so I'm not sure why the actual arrival time was an hour or two later than the predicted arrival time on the ticket.
Also, boarding at Mendoza bus terminal was a little confusing since the Mendoza-Bariloche bus was not listed on the video screens. I don't expect airport-style signage, but a little paper sign on a stand indicating which platform number(s) the bus departs from would be a big help.
Lastly, the bus company apparently required a paper copy of the ticket to be printed out and presented, which, in the digital age, is unnecessary in my opinion.
Worst bus journey EVER. No wifi, milk for tea, no proper food (lunch was crisps) and worst of all for a 17 hour over night journey, they don't provide blankets or pillows. We were freezing. Never travelling with Andesmar again.
