Used Cruz del Sur three times in Peru. The VIP seats on all three trips were excellent. Felt very safe and secure travelling with them. Large comfortable reclining seats meant we could sleep on the two overnight trips. Recommend bringing a blanket for overnight buses as they no longer provide them since Covid.

Awful. The bus was forty minutes late arriving in the morning. It was two and a half hours late arriving in Lima. The driver let someone on to sell wine during the trip. There are already enough vendors. I had to reschedule a flight out of Lima. I won't be using this line again.

My reservation was for 6:30 am. So of course, I was up early and arrived by 6:15, only to wait until almost 7:00. My assigned seat was right in front of the bano. The smell was horrid! The seats smelled and seemed dirty. The packaging around the one warm little piece of bread was way too much, and not good for the environment. Huge waste. The man who monitored the top level worked hard and did his job well. Not his fault that the bus is dirty and smelled. Absolutely not a pleasant eight hour journey. Yuck!
