Bus showed up an hour late without functioning AC. An hour into the trip the bus broke down and we had to wait two hours for a replacement, we were a total of 4 hours late to our destination. Never again.
I actually missed the Pullman bus because a young guy directed me to the wrong platform in the Santiago rush hour on Monday morning, but a brilliant young black Pullman guy got me on the Class bus.
Pullman Bus had very comfortable seats, and being given blankets was also a nice touch. Very good value for money and I would have no hesitation in using them again for long distance trips.
The staff were very unhelpful and the security is none existent. My bag wasn’t stolen with 400,000 pesos worth of cash and electronics inside by a man who walked onto the Bus without a ticket I have to cut my travels short now because i lost so much because of bad security and I didn’t even take the bus because my passport was stolen meaning I cannot continue my travels around South America. I would never recommend expreso Norte because of this. I am still in Santiago and have to pay for a hostel. I feel I should be compensated for my losses. Horrific service.
The staff did not assist us at the bus when boarding the bus driver ignored us and consequently a stranger who we thought was staff helped us on the bus placed and shoved our bag under our first class seat and with an accomplise outside the bus who was distracting us at the window by banging on it
The other took our bag and robbed us right on this bus
We were asked to take our other bags already under the bus off before police arrived and we waited for police... we did not make the trip and are still in process trying to get our passport...much work to cancel cards also.. yes it appears they were professionals but bathe staff and bus driver should have been more alert... or perhaps he is sharing our camera , much money and all my medication for my heart! We are out thousands or dollars because of them.. and much heart and many brain sorry
While we were riding, there were an odd series of noises, noises that I presume were the audio of a film, coming from the speakers above the seats. The noises were quite annoying and went on for some time before the attendant came to stop them.
