We were 40 minutes before departure time at the station. We asked 5 times at the man who worked there at the port of the buses. He said "wait, wait". And after asking 6 times, he said; your bus already left.
It was 45mins late - ongoing roadworks which could easily be built into the timetable. Otherwise just the usual of a tv playing too loudly, blinds drawn etc
We were very confused where to go. Our bus was not appearimg on the list of buses they were leaving. When it was time fo our bus to depart, we were worried and have asked a man who called out people for boarding multiple times if we can board for Valladolid. He kept telling us that he would call us when it is time. Then we asked someone esle and it turned out we were late for our bus. A bit dissapointed, vonfusinf servise.
There was a group of 4 of us going to Valladolid leaving at 2:50PM in Cancun. We arrived well before the departure time (20-30 mins before) but our destination, Valladolid, was not appearing on the screen. We kept asking one of the employees who was in charge of directing people to their buses but he kept telling us to wait. Well now it’s 3PM still telling us to wait but our bus has left. He takes us to the ticket counter and they tell us we have to get on the 4PM bus (not even ADO) and we have to pay the difference. So we paid more for our bus tickets to arrive later and travel longer than we expected. It was a very poor experience.
I got my ticket online but when I asked workers where I should go when I got there, they just kept telling me to wait. Eventually it was literally time to leave and we still had no idea which bus to take and the screens on the wall didn't say. We asked about 4 people in a big scramble and eventually found a baggage handler who was surprised and quickly moved us to our shuttle that was about to leave. Barely caught it. Poor service at the terminal.
Absolutely terrible. The worst service. We arrived early but were held off the platform as the guard didn’t know which platform our bus was arriving at. The bus then arrived and left without out us whilst the guard made us wait. We immediately told ADO desk the situation and they by told us to buy a new ticket even though it was not our fault we missed the bus. When we refused to buy another ticket as half empty buses left every hour to Valladolid, Ado made the guard who held us from the platform pay for two tickets on the public bus. We had to wait two hours for the public bus to arrive and the journey took three hours. Disgraceful. We paid $40 for a premium shuttle for a two hour journey and ended up on public bus and it taking five hours.
