How do elderly, disabled or single passengers manage ?
My bag was stolen off of the bus at Bilbao. I had place my bag in with the other bags and when I arrived it was gone. The bus driver had said there were two guys lingering around the bus but did not stay by the bus and watch everyone’s luggage. It was also very difficult/ near impossible to find a help desk at San Sebastián Bus station
We enjoyed the bus, the driving and the comfort. There was WC, AC, water. The driver was very kind and professional.
Unfortunately my husband’s seat had a problem and it was not holding the reclining position. Because the trip was short we managed.
No big deal that the bus was 15 minutes late, but annoying that there was no communication whatsoever about this delay to the waiting passengers. We had to ask a security guard for confirmation that bus was on it's way
There was no clear communication about numbered Bay Alsa 11.
00am bus would be leaving from. Many passengers were stressed & by chance found ourselves at Bay 19, although screen said Bay 5. Very unsatisfactory for all passengers. Goodness knows if passengers were left behind. It felt like chaos people were very anxious.
Very comfortable and safe trip. Slight confusion at the Bilbao terminal on the platform number. Otherwise everything was perfect. Clean bus interiors. Thankfully the noisy kids were seated right at the rear. Absolutely loved the bus terminal in Donostia-San Sebastián.
Very confusing at the bus station. It was not made clear that different bus companies were travelling to the same destination at the same time. Many people tried to get on the wrong bus. Our bus arrived after the stated leaving time so passengers were left waiting and no explanation was offered as to when or where our bus would arrive.
The bus driver was very helpful, polite and involved in his work. The bus was comfortable, clean and quiet. Ok, there was 15 minutes late (the bus arrived 5 minutes late and it took 10 minutes to get on board), but sometimes it happens because of traffic etc. The most important thing was that travel was safe and comfortable.
Bus was extremely late ( more than 30 min). As a result we did not go as had booked return later to change on to bus to airport. Could not risk severe delays on way back as would mean we could miss our flight.
Information was terrible... hard to work out where to get bus from, incorrect information on boards and no staff to ask.
Therefore money wasted. As neither tickets were used.
