My husband and I had a wonderful experience taking the bus from Barcelona to Madrid. The bus was very comfortable and clean with TV screens and a place to charge your electronic devices. The ride was very smooth and we enjoyed the scenery along the way. We had no issue with the traffic and the driver was very professional and courteous. It was a very comfortable ride and I would recommend this to everyone.
The driver could only speak Spanish in announcement and breaks so I didn’t understand anything and I couldn’t go out during the stops because I didn’t know how much time we have and I was afraid to miss it! Please teach them English !!
ALSA bus driver was great and polite. Even thou he didn’t make the announcement in English and we didn’t know it was toilet break or dropping off passengers.. AC was good. Punctuality was EXCELLENT! (Have been taking a lot of different companies buses for the past 2.5 months from Eastern to Western Europe) The only thing was that the light could be much dimmer as it was a overnight bus. Overall, nth beat the experience ALSA has given me so far! (Way better than Fxxxbus)
on timw departure and arrival but the bus is just not suited for long time travel especially overnight travel. There is no space and recliner is also not good
My ticket said bus Number 1 seat 57 .
So I went to the station that said #1 and waited for the bus. It was only by chance that I heard that the Alsa bus to Madrid at station # 27 was leaving . I had to run to the bus and beg to get on .
I love ALSA. The wifi was really good. The service too. We got the first and second seat, so extra leg room for us, yeay! Not sure about the toilet. Didn’t know if there is a toilet or not, or whether it’s clean or dirty (if the bus has one).
The other ALSA bus I have taken (Porto to Tui) was much more comfortable. It had more leg room and a drop down tray. Here, when the person in front put their seat back, it squished my legs, and their head was so close I could smell their hair!
The bus driver was very arrogant. Almost left us at the stop. The bus driver dis not speak any other language then spanish. He did not let us get something from bag before leaving (10min before)
Yeah. Alsa services of transport are good but few deficiencies like there was no security arrangement like one security guard or watchman should have inside the bus. Well this is not so important but there was no protection of luggage like if anyone wanna steal luggage specially when people dropped the luggage into the side cabin and seated inside the bus. Who 'll be responsible if someone lost his or her luggage. Like the cabin was open and no one was watching. Truly speaking I was worried throughout the journey about my luggage and then after reaching zaragoza I requested driver to show me my luggage in cabin. He did that I am thankful to him. Apart from that journey was awesome and safe. Please take some necessary remedies to protect such things. Have a nice day.
Our travel experience from Barcelona to Madrid was great! The bus was extremely comfortable, the driver was nice, and our trip was smooth sailing! Highly recommend traveling with ALSA via bus to anyone looking for a ride with beautiful views of Spanish hills, mountains, and agriculture.
I’ve read some pretty bad reviews which was making me second guessed my decision however upon taking it I feel it was pretty satisfactory the bus arrived on time left on time drivers were polite so all in all a pretty good experience
The trip was very good. My problem is I didn’t understand the driver as he only spoke Spanish and I didn’t realize the stop in Zaragoza was long enough for a toilet break or that there was a toilet on the bus.
Reserve un asiento específico, luego el número de asiento para nada era el seleccionado. Un timo pagar 36 euros por ir en una lata de sardinas, una pena!
The bus driver was very helpful, I just wish he speaks more English. :) The bus I think is great because it has on board entertainment. My only complaint is that I booked for 2 seats (me and my wife) and the seats that the computerized booking system gave us are not seated beside each other. I had to ask one passenger if she was willing to swap seats, good thing she agreed.
Barcelona to Zaragoza driver was fatigued and failed to maintain a constant line and scared us a little. The toilet was the most disgusting, no water, no flush or paper and urine all over the floor and walls. Seating arrangement was the worst. Both our tv screens did not work. Wifi kept on expiring. Ticket did not say time of arrival and we expected to arrive at estacion del sur Madrid where we booked a hotel near by and that was not the case.
