Well I believe this IS a good company, But of course with last travel I am not happy as we had An accident. I think the company did not react correctly, they should someone to pick Us up faster. We were waiting 4 hours in the midlle of nothing and it was very cold. Nobody did not care if anybody IS Hurt.
The bus had an accident and after that the staff handled everything very bad. Groups of people were brought to Puno by different busses that were passing by but we couldn’t bring our luggage because of the accident. When we arrived in Puno no one knew where the luggage was
Drinks were served during the most bumpiest and curviest time. Many spills. My seat mate tv didn't work. Good seats, good snack, pillow. Good tv, movies.
I am very impressed with Cruz del Sur and wouldn’t use any other bus company now. We were delayed arriving but mostly due to traffic and roadworks. Great value.
Cruz del Sur handled our overnight trip with exceptional service and attentiveness. Other bus companies ought to take a page from Cruz del Sur's book and learn how to run things.
Seat didn't recline, the heat was so high that there was no chance of sleeping, I took off everything I could and still remain decent, but I spent the whole trip boiling still, then a 3 hour wait for my connecting bus instead of the 30 minutes the schedule indicated.
My compliant is on the return trip. The two seats in front of me were fully reclined, placing my knees in contact with seats in front of me. I informed and showed the attendant. I asked if I could change to one of the 4 back seats, he said it was reserved for blankets and pillows. There was spaces because I first seat in 2-35. He told me to simply sit sideways. He asked if I was okay? I informed him no, my knees are still in contact. He offered nothing. I spent this long trip uncomfortable and no extended sleep. I am 6 foot in height. There was a solution and it was refused. This company should compensate me for my discomfort, it was avoidable.
Counter staff in Arequipa were not easy to deal with. Staff on bus were excellent. Careful and good drivers. Friendly and pleasant server. Lateness were a result of poor roads, lots of traffic and a summer snowstorm. Can't fault bus company on fact the driver dealt with it all very calmly.
We lost our wallet on the way to the bus terminal in the taxi and had to cancel the trip. The Cruz del Sur staff was not helpfull and seemed amused. They even tried to force us to pay 3 Soles for „using“ the terminal.
This company has a problem with temperature regulation on its buses. It was so hot on this bus that I thought I would pass out. Couldn’t even put my feet on the ground due to the intense heat from below. A terrible experience.
We were pleasantly surprised with the amazing seats, personal entertainment systems, even with movies subtitled in English. A very safe ride from Arequipa to Puno. Thankyou. We highly recommend this service.
the bus is fine . but have booked with your company and never able to pick seats together as it says its full but when on bus and have asked at staion there are plenty of seats empty and could had had seats together. at same stantard .
Don’t seat in seat 15. I seemed to be sitting on top of the heater for the entire floor and it was awful. I felt like I was suffocating. Eventually at 1 am I told the driver to turn the heat off because I was so miserable.
Lazy staff in bus. Did not offer any refreshments during the journey except the beginning.
Even when asked he refused saying that the service was closed.
I saw him sleeping and then watching TV on his phone.
I couldn't book my seats together with my fiance and we are on separate seats. Puno staff at terminal very rude said I had to pay more just to change 2 rows in front. Ridiculous
Although the seats and everything is very neat and the personal friendly, I booked this bus specially for the overnight. However, there was this giant fan from r
Seat 11 till 26 that was so loud that I could hardly sleep. Who thinks of doing that?
The overall experience on the bus was descent. It was freezing, but I felt safe and it was clean-ish. The staff was really kind though I wish the arrival time was a bit more accurate. I arrived 2 hours early putting me in puno at 3:30am.
Very affordable and the cheap seats are still amazing!! Very soft and comfortable and reclining so could sleep. Food was okay :) On board staff were attentive and good driver. Staff at the Arequipa terminal not so friendly but no issues. Bus arrived 15 min late. 9.5/10
Bus was an hour early which messed with my connection but better early than late (I was cold though while waiting)
Staff lovely, comfortable seat and pillow and cover where a nice added bonus.
