Not the bus companies fault but we were stopped by a group of bandits and they robbed all my money.
The bus was clean and comfortable. There was some traffic so we arrived late but can’t help that. The driver was kind and helpful when I asked him to make sure I got off at the right stop.
Was not direct, stopped multiple times and all lights were switched on every time. Meaning it was almost impossible to sleep. Seat allocations weren't followed or enforced by staff which led to confusion among the passengers in the early hours of the morning. Not ideal.
The aircondition was to cold, the seats was discomfort and the bus did not have Wi-Fi or a toilet. The driver was stopping the bus at least 8 times to do something
Such a good service! My friend and I missed our bus because of traffic to the station. But the sweet people at AU said that we could just take the next bus, without buying a new ticket. They really tried to help us, even tho we can’t speak Spanish and it was a problem to understand each other.
The aircon on the bus was turned down way too cold. It's enough to make one sick as it's such a drastic change to the outside temperature. I was wearing long pants, socks, 2 jerseys and a blanket and still I was cold. The bus either needs to provide blankets to its commuters or have the aircon at a sensible temperature. It felt like it was 16 degrees and outside it was 30.
Another thing is that the window seats have a piece of metal where an arm rest should be and it's extremely uncomfortable!
Also, the seats do not recline at all... they have a lever to allow them to go back but they don't stay there!
Hi, I was robbed during the bus ride, they stole my wallet and already made a transaction! Other than that, the bus was freezing cold and my friend almost left the bus because of that. The AC was way too strong. Furthermore, the busdriver listened to very loud music which was annoying and it disturbed my friend’s sleep. Overall the ride was peak!
The bus was late as it was the end of a public holiday so traffic was bad, however it did not take this into account when giving the original predicted destination time
The night-bus to Palenque is long, but it was pleasant! There were a few toilet breaks and only one stop/search (an army man and his female colleague/associate came onboard to check passports + visas).
Even though staff spoke very limited English, everyone was still courteous and friendly and were able to give me basic information.
The bus was clean and comfortable. The passengers were quiet, except for the young girl sitting in the back row singing quite loudly. At least she had her headphones on and was thoroughly enjoying herself like she was on a stage.
it was terribly cold on the bus! the driver kept turning on the air conditioning, people were shivering, even blanket and a sweatshirt was not enough. I absolutely don't understand, the driver must have seen it. The air conditioning was very noisy, seats soaked, hard and old. horror for that money. It can't be compared to an ADO bus.
AU provided a comfortable and on time trip between Mexico City and Puebla, and I particularly liked the driver who was able to crack a joke in English.
The lights to be able to read should work and they are not. Very disappointed about that, it was dark in the bus from the start and couldn't read but it was only 6pm so it's not time to sleep yet.
The staff at the station wanted to search my bag which has never happened before in Mexico, and when they found my rolling tobacco they wanted me to put my bag in the hold even though it fits between my legs, when I asked why and they couldn't give me a reason they let me carry my bag on as normal. Just a bit awkward and rude
Overall a pretty good experience on the bus. Only thing is that there was no bathroom on the bus itself, and no wifi. These are not major issues but I felt like for what I paid these things should have been included.
