the ticket was from buffalo to NYC. was told that bus had some issues. then later told bus would be leaving from Rochester. the bus left at 3:45PM. Almost 4 hours delay
Our bus was canceled and the only sign was in pencil which no one saw until well after the estimated departure time and we had to spend the night in our car so thanks for the extra back pain
A bus ride that was supposed to be 6:40 to 2:55 ended up being 6:40 to 5:40. I will never be taking a bus ever again and will cancel my return trip. During the ride, the coolant line broke and left us stranded for around 2 hours. Very poor service.
This was my first experience with OurBus.. I have a trip back home and that will definitely be the last trip I take. The pick up location in Buffalo is at a gas station which was closed, there was also nothing open nearby. It was extremely freezing cold out and we had to wait in the cold for almost 1 hour. When the company was called to inquire how far out the bus was, we were told they couldn’t tell us. The driver was very verbals about how terrible the company was. Someone from the office kept calling our driver while he was driving. The bus was very cold and uncomfortable.
Very disorganized and the people at the buffalo station have very poor communication skills. My bus was delayed and one gentleman help me but the lady on the loud speaker didn’t do what she was suppose to do.
Everything great, the airconditioning is ridiculous though - everyone was freezing. I understand it was for motion sickness but 5 degrees higher temperature wouldn't hurt.
The driver was rude and refused to hear us even after we brought to his attention that other cars and coaches were signaling to us that a side compartment had opened up. What was meant to be a trip on one bus turned out to be on 3 different ones: once because the AC broke down on the first, after transferring to a new bus, transmission had issues so we drove back to the stop in Syracuse. Greyhound could benefit from better service on all fronts.
Awful customer service. Needed to make a simple schedule change to the ticket and they could not do it over the phone. Absolute disgrace and a black eye to the travel industry. Buyer beware.
The driver was a hour late, that’s very disappointing. I’m glad that it was a nice day outside because if by any chance the weather was crazy cold it could be a very difficult situation. I called like five times but no body could give me a straight answer. A hour late is no fear to any customer. Very disappointing.
One of the bus drivers was very rude to me and other customers he was an older white bald man with gray hair. He grabbed my arm at one point and told me I was ignorant because I wasn’t able to find the digital copy of my ticket. Probably will never take a bus again because it wasn’t even cheap when I can fly round trip for like 120 bucks / thumbs down
World has changed a lot as for as client comfort is concerned and even in under developed countries buses n trains accept tickets on phones but here at greyhound/Buffalo terminal every thing was opposite, they want printed ticket, n front desk lady want cooperative at all.she wanted me to send email on the email address of greyhound.the email was not going on that address while I could forward it on other address.after many many attempts n waiting of about half hour she took pity on me and asked booking reference # which she could have done earlier.she also asked me to fill one form n only then she printed the ticket. However driver was very professional n knowledable. He drove very safely through bad windy weather, greeted in different languages, and communicated n kept us informed at every step.even he went through all bus to make sure every one knows about New Jersey stop n if need to leave the bus.
The first bus didn’t pick us up and we had to catch a later bus. That bus left 2 hours later than it was supposed to. Then 2 hours into the ride the bus breaks down on the high way. Very angry with greyhound.
I thought greyhound is one of the best but it’s very worst. Staff is not good. Quality of the bus and seating is worst. No WiFi. Charging points are not at all working . Overall I can say it’s worst
First, the bus did not depart on time. Over 30 minutes and they did not even care to tell us why we were still at the station. When I went to ask, I was told they were waiting for some passengers doing transit. From where, I do not know. We left 11:30 instead of 11:00pm.
The bus also made a lot of noise at the back whe I was sitting. It was very scary and noisy.
And I feel like both drivers wasn’t too polite in their messages. One of them stopped on in the middle of the highway because he felt someone was on the phone, which I did not hear anyone talking. It was dangerous on the highway with cars and trucks sleeping pass us. Anything could have happened.
the was no AC on the bus or Windows to open. Imagine 100 people in a cramped to y space with temps over 100 degrees for 3 hours before they sent a new bus. The temperature was very unsafe and they are lucky no one ended up in the hospital. And the bus was an hour and 1/2 late picking us up. The driver was nice and apologetic.
Great service. Professional and courteous driver. We even arrived early to our destination which very rarely happens. Would consider riding again and more frequently if their prices weren't so high as to rival some airline tickets for the same location
The bus came to Buffalo late and left late. The driver was far too chatty. I would've preferred to just get going after his speech but he spent another ten minutes doing other things. Also, our 10 and 15 minute stops turned into 25 and 30 minute stops. Way too long. We did make it to NYC only 5 minutes past the expectedly arrival time though.
