The bus driver stopped in Barranquilla Amand had lunch there for about an hour. Then he proceeded to fill up at the gas station and stayed there for about 30 minutes more in order to talk to some friends and eat, again. Meanwhile there was no communication about the delay whatsoever. Traffic had gotten a lot worse in the meantime so it took us another hour to get out of the city. What was supposed to be a 4-5 hour trip took 8,5 hours in the end. Traveling with this bus company was way, way worse than with the comfortable other companies.
We booked the 8.45 bus but they said that it had "technical" problems (after asking 3 times) so we had to wait for the next bus which was 3 hours later. That bus didn't leave on time and didn't arrive on time. Some of the delay was not the company's fault because there appeared to have been an accident which caused us to barely move for 2 hours. However, at every stop we had to wait a long time and people would get in and out and it was messy. In the end, where our plan was to leave Cartagena at 8.45 and arrive in Palomino at 16.00, we were on time at the bus station at 8.30 and 6 hours late in Palomino (we arrived at 22.00 at our hostel).
This company doesn’t care whatsoever about foreign visitors, they’re rude, dismissive, and no help. We’re low maintenance people and when the bus starts to empty and leave with no one letting us know what was happening. The piece of shit bus had broken seats and stinky bathrooms. Thanks for a bad experience.
The bus left half an hour late than scheduled. The journey was theee hours longer than had been advertised. The driver did not stop at our destination (Palomino), so 4 passengers (myself included),had to travel on the bus an extra half hour when we were put on a bus returning to Palomino. Very disappointed with the trip. Would not recommend this service to others.
Bus broke down and then the replacement broke down. Never travelling on Brasilia again
Fue casi 10 horas de viaje de Cartagena a Palomino y el aire condicionaría no funcionaba todo el tiempo.
Very comfortable and easy trip
From the start the staff were unhelpful at the terminal, the bus was running late so we eventually arrived at our destination one and a half hours late. Even though we'd clearly been given seat numbers on our tickets there were people sat in our seats when we arrived and nobody seemed too bothered to check. The buses we took (we had to switch partway through) were dirty with crumbs and rubbish everywhere. When we finally arrived we were just dropped off randomly on the street with no idea where to go.
