Bad communication from the staff when the bus would arrive however they did change me to another bus free of charge but this bus till left very Late
Too late and we spent almost 8 hours of traveling instead of 4.5. Awful lot of small stops as well which really slowed the bus down.
Very comfortable bus!!!
AWFUL! supposed to leave at 4 and arrive at 8. We left at 6.30 and arrived at 12.10am. Bus made NUMEROUS local stops. Terrible service
It was very cold in the bus. We asked a few times to increase the temperature, but they did not want to or they did not understand us.
The bus was 2 hours late. The personnel told me there was a protest but when asking people who were already in the bus what was going on, they said it was just delayed and that it usually is that way. The chairs were comfortable but the air-conditioning was too cold. I got a cold because of it.
The bus was an hour late at Santa Marta. The air conditioning was on very high and I asked the bus driver to turn it down, but he refused. Everyone on the bus was freezing. He also turned the music on very loud while people were trying to sleep. We arrived 2.5 hrs late. I will not be using this bus ever again.
The bus we booked did not actually exist. We had to buy other tickets with a different company
Service was ok, but 2 hours late
Cope Tran was completely horrible. From the people, to the lack of information, to the lateness of the bus, to the complete lack of consideration from anyone involved. As a matter of fact, I am wasting my own time writing this much...
The bus never arrived. Copetran staff was telling lies to passenger, the bus is stucked in traffic, it is in the parking slot, etc but the bus never depart from origin city due to very low ammount ticket sold. Very disappointed, we had to go back in hotel in Santa Marta, we lost 1 day tour and 1 night in hotel in Cartagena already paid.
Absolutely horrible experience. It was supposed to go straight to Cartagena and arrive at 8:00 after leaving at 4:00. We didn’t leave until 5:00 and did not arrive until after 10:00. We made a ton of stops in many towns to drop and pick people up. The bus driver even made some personal stops for food.
Nice staff but drive will be closer to 6 hours
Very poor service. Bus arrived 2 hours late with a broken mirror. Bus was stopped by the police and unable to continue so another bus had to be found. New bus was extremely cold and everyone was freezing. Old bus driver spent all his time on the phone / WhatsApp. Bus was meant to arrive in Cartagena at 8pm but arrived at 11:30pm. A complaint will be logged
We booked a direct bus put they put us in a bus through branquilla. Therefore ik took over more than one hour. And the airconditioning was to could, it was not possible to put it off.
CopeTran is the worst!!
Bus was 1:20h from Santa Marta, staff unable to give any info. Took 4 hours to get through Barranquilla due to multiple stops, then 3 more hours to get to Cartagena. Total almost 7 h travel, not 4 h as they advertise. Literally impossible to do it in 4h with so many stops. Driver constantly on his phone(I recorded) and overtaking trucks.
Best bus I've been on yet- comfortable seats that recline, a bathroom, movie playing, comfortable temperature, Wifi included. Great experience overall!
Nice bus, modern and comfy. Airco too high and the bus was in delay.
I read reviews prior to buying my ticket how the bus was late and they put them on a different bus with no explanation but I thought how often could that really happen? Apparently it happens frequently. I was suppose to leave at 1400 but it was 1405 and no bus in sight. I asked someone and he basically just brought me and four others over back in the train station and told us he was putting us on a different companies bus that was leaving an hour later... I forget what company that one was, but the bus was very fun down and the seats were cramped and uncomfortable. The bus driver was flying through the towns trying to make up lost time possible but I thought we were going to tip over at times. Horrible experience.
Bad communication on the side of Copetran - No english. Bus was terribly cold, drivers didn’t lower airconditioning even after asking several times. Bus arrived late (3h) but not only because of the traffic jam(2h). Suddently we had to switch buses, no one informed us about this beforehand, we had to go in an uncomfortable non-Copetran bus. This bus had no leg space at all.
Climatisé, trop climatisé. Et beaucoup de retard, il n'y avait plus de bus une fois arrivé, nous avons du payer un taxi pour nous rendre a l'autre bout de la ville et ce qui a considérablement augmenté le coup de notre voyage.
Nobody initially informed about the delay. We had several times that the bus picked someone up just down the road. Also several times people could leave the bus as they requested the driver to stop.
The bus never turned up in Santa Marta. We waited for two hours, than they told us to give our passports. They made copies and we had to take a bus from another company. We were put in the back, none of us sat next to their partner. It was a mess. In Barranquilla we saw the bus from Copetran that should have picked us up (same bus number). That bus could never be in Santa Marta at two o'clock, so they knew all along that there was no bus. We should have left at 14h and arrive at 18.30h. Now we left at 16h and arrived around 22h. Copetran is the worst company ever.
Very comfortable buses. Lots of space. Semi-cama. Air conditioning. Highly recommended.
The worst bus experience I’ve ever had. The bus was 4 hours late and was freezing the entire time. The trash can was on the floor on the ground of the bathroom with used toilet paper coming out of it onto the floor and sliding around. The staff was rude and disrespectful.
The whole service was terrible. No one explained where to go at the Santa Marta terminal, the staff were unhelpful, they kept pushing back the departure time by 30mins so we ended up leaving 2 hours late. In the coach, the conditions were freezing cold temperatures and the driver would continuously stop during the journey, who knows why! At the end, we arrived over 2 hours later than our scheduled arrival with not a single apology or acknowledgement. Never using the service again
The bus was 2.5hours delayed without giving any information.
