It is punctual Not clean Takes more than 5h to get from Santa Marta to Cartagena
No paper in the toilet. I would have brought my own had I known this. WiFi don’t work on board. Chairs reclined and good foot room.
Was not allowed on the bus I had originally booked a ticket for, was then given no information about the next bus. Eventually got on one an hour later

The departure time changed from 10:30 to 11:15 upon our arrival. Actual departure was 11:40. With various stoppages en route we arrived at Cartagena terminal past 17:00. In hindsight a taxi from Santa Marta would have wasted less of the day, but would have costed more, I would have chosen a taxi. The journey itself was not great. Two films were shown with the sound low along with.some salsa music. This combined with the smell of the cologne of the man in front of me made it a long journey.
Bus had 1.5 hours of delay, stopped 50 minutes in Barranquilla without any information about the reason, several cockroaches on the bus, seat very dirty
Like other bus in Colombia don't trust the time. Bus will be extremely late anyway
According to customer reviews, there are several complaints about the bus service. Customers mention that the seats were in bad condition and the air conditioning was not working properly. Additionally, there were unexpected delays due to a one-hour break without prior notification. Furthermore, some customers reported issues with seat availability and experienced a nearly 2-hour delay as a result.

The experience with this company from Santa Marta to Cartagena was not good! The bus was 1.5hr late. We weren't kept up to date, ourselves and other travelers waiting had to keep going up to the desk. Once it arrived we then waited further 30 minutes. It seemed like they were filling up the bus and constantly asking names of passengers? Once we got going the bus drivers driving was dangerous as times. Attempting to over take cars on corners and over taking when there was clearly traffic coming the other direction.
Even though the bus was scheduled to leave at 12pm and we bought seats tickets, our seats were taken and we were told seating was free. The bus then waited until all seats were filled before leaving, hence the almost 2 hour delay.
The seats of the bus where in a bad state, the airconditioning was not working properly, they took a break of one hour without letting us know (we didn’t know there was going to be such a long break) etc.
According to 228 reviews, Copetran received a 2-star rating for this journey. Travellers were especially satisfied with the seats and the cleanliness, but some complained about the timeliness. Copetran ticket prices on this trip start at US$16.00

Comfortable seats. However our 4 hour ride was a 10 hour ride from Santa Marta to Cartagena. There was solid traffic, so we understand it’s not the company’s fault. However, it would have been really nice if the driver had communicated with us the reason for the delay instead of playing on his phone.
The staff was awful. The bus was awful. It was unsafe. The lady at the desk in Cartagena was not nice and took no responsibility. I will never use your service agin. It was horrible.
Too late and we spent almost 8 hours of traveling instead of 4.5. Awful lot of small stops as well which really slowed the bus down.
