I'm happy for the service but was worried we would miss our flight by being a hour late.
Staff was extremely rude and did not want to be helpful. They refused to take one of our larger bags while letting family put five to six bags a person on. Would not recommend to anyone
The Bus didn't stop at puerto varas. We bought the bus tickets online, were at the bus stop which was mentioned in the Mail. But the Bus didn't stop, the Bus just drove further.
the journey was ok but the driver never told us if we would stop, could get food, we made numerous stops and spent ages in one depot (think it was Temuco) but we didnt know if we could get out
Very organized. Nice staff. Only problem was with getting two hours late than what it says, and The frequency of the buses could be better🙂 we found it difficult to find tickets
The bus never stopped at Puerto Varas leaving us stranded in the middle of nowhere and unable to reach our destination on the expected date. Making us lose money, and most important our time during our already limited vacation time. On top of that Via Tac customer service may be the worst customer service dept I have ever have had to dealt with. No answer on time, no empathy and no guidance
The road through the mountains was closed. That's no one's fault. At the Puerto Montt bus station the hours of operation listed on a Sunday begin at 9am. There was no worker on duty until after 12pm. The bus was supposed to leave at 12:10. Some sort of notification would have been nice.
The bus was almost 2 hours late leaving La Rioja (due at 9.45 we left at 11.30). There was no communication from staff to inform us it was late and the bus also stopped several times along the way with zero explanation why. Even when we were 20 minutes from the destination, it stopped again for 15 minutes without any explanation. I understand delays but communication to passengers would have been really appreciated.
The bus did not show up before an 1 later than scheduled. And arrived over 2 hours later at arrival. Booked a direkte bus in the hope that it would go straight, but No, several stoppes on the way.
The staff woke me up during the night several time just to tell which stop er were at now, even i had told them that i was going all the way to the final destination. So it is litterly imposible to get some sleep.
The staff also expected tips for loading and giving back my backpacking, so rude, handling the bags MUST be includes in the price.
The bus was not compy, the seats were hard to seat on, and only declined a bit, nothing semi cama over that.
The snacks provided was good.
Rude staff. Asking for tips when we gave them our bags to put on and then when they got them back off the bus. Bus was over an hour delayed. Paid extra to have lye down seats but didn’t recline fully.
This is a night bus service and no blanket was provided. Also in this modern era there should be outlets for phone charging. We were also in the bus for 5 hours before any food or drink was given. This shouldn’t be as long.
The bus was on time and clean and that's what counts most. Seats were also pretty good. Only the on-board service was less than what I am used to in Argentina. It was really cold in the lower part of the bus, food was served in sloppy way and very late. No coffee (or anything to drink) was served with breakfast.
I think was ok, including snacks and drinks is a good thing in a long trips like this. The sits was enough comfortable to stay the whole night and sleep sometimes.
The Via Tac bus from 18:10 didn't show up and also wasn't viewed on the screens. We saw only 1 Via Tac bus so we went over there but this was the bus from 18:00. We waited 50 minutes and then asked a Rutamar bus about our Via Tuc transfer. They told us they were the same and we could take that bus (which was weird to us because it was a totally different bus agency). We finally had the bus at 18:55 via Rutamar.
The bag I but in the bus storage has been opened during the trip, my things were completely shuffled and some stuff was missing. There was strange noise in the back of the bus, I'm wondering if someone was not robbing us while the bus was driving. In addition to that, there was a disturbing petrol smell in the bus.
