The loading and unloading process for the luggage was unorganized. No one was there to really watch the process to ensure the luggage will go to the right passenger. Also, the smell from the bathroom was quite strong and can smell from The seats.
It was a comfortable ride. However it went for 3 hours without a stop. It would be great if the bus could make a pit stop for anyone needing to use the toilet quickly as not everyone would like to use the small toilet on the bus while it is moving.
The bus was fine, arrived on time and the driver knew the road well to accommodate the required driving style for the road itself (bumps). The station Plaza De Armas is awful and needs improvements for tourists. The departure board didn't work, the toilets are limited and disgusting.
The bathroom on board was not functional. The bus driver did not mention that before we left Seville, so neither I nor other passengers who expected to be able to use it—including a pregnant passenger—could use it, which is unacceptable for a three hour trip. I and the pregnant passenger had to use the bathroom within the first thirty minutes to an hour. I was in excruciating pain and distress during most of the trip. It was an awful experience and the worst part of our 10 day trip.
Drivers should also be taught how to answer passengers, some of whom are tourists like us who are not familiar with the bus station, where to wait, which bus, etc. ‘No lo se’ is the answer we got from a lady driver from ALSA. She could have told us to ask elsewhere, pointed us where to get the info.
Also, why weren’t we provided with earphones? We took an Avanza bus from/to Salamanca and we were given the earphones.
