My driver was so friendly and helpful, helping me by not only getting me to Squamish on time, but also giving me directions to different places and giving me recommendations for different places to go
Our bus driver was very rude and obnoxious, didn’t have the time of day for anyone no matter of they were children or adults. Our return bus from Squamish was awful, being over an half an out late to arrive and then arriving at our destination was an hour late too! Very disappointed with the service.
Again a terrible experience with greyhound. Arrived at station to be told the bus was running hours late. No idea when or if it would turn up. Had to desperately try to arrange alternative transport of premium prices. Complete disaster.
We were left stood in the rain for 10 minutes after out scheduled departure time. When our driver did arrive late with coffee, he did not apologise for leaving us in the rain, or for being late. He was then quite rude about the fact I had accidentally given him my itinerary by mistake, and was quite confrontational. Based on my experience, I would recommend using other companies when possible.
Making people on vacation print out tickets rather than showing confirmation on their phones is antiquated. I had trouble finding the second pick up location in Squamish as the address details on the timetable were not detailed enough. I tried to buy a return ticket on line a few hours before travel time and I was unable to do so. Then when I tried to pay the driver he did not have any change. The staff were however helpful and friendly
The service from whistler was absolutely atrocious. I am so embarrassed for your company and certainly could not recommend greyhound to friends. The lady behind the whistler visitor kiosk tutted upon printing our tickets when it interrupted her reading her book. She tutted when she was 'forced to come outside to the bus' to confirm that we had paid for one bike bag to be taken on the coach.
The driver proceeded to say there was no room for the bike (boxed no larger thank a suitcase) and that we would we have to wait for another coach - despite paying for the bike bag and our tickets.
There was space for at least 3 bikes and more and when we asked if we could attempt to place the bike bag in the luggage facility the driver walked away and said 'if it were up to me I would have said no'.
I've rode greyhound in England and australia for years and the friendliness of the staff and ease of use is second to none and absolutely amazing. I'm absolutely disgusted at the service of the staff in Canada - all of whom seemed to go out of their way to let us know how much of a burden we were to travel on their service. And, I'll certainly never be using them again.
We arrived on time at the location we were told to be at however, due to construction work the stop had been moved which we had not been informed about. We were then addressed by a very rude member of staff who didn't help and didn't hide the fact that she couldn't be bothered to deal with us. Very unhappy about this
