I always use Ebus for my trip to Vancouver and back. I booked it for my friend this time and the bus came 1h late . While I do understand that traffic or incident can happen on the road but I was told the bus driver parked in Merritt and came back 45 minute later
I get that traffic is an issue but to arrive an hour late to my destination is unfair to the passengers. If it was 20-30 minutes it would have been OK but an hour is unacceptable. Also the WiFi was unstable through the journey and disconnected multiple times. I get that it's free but I also need to communicate with others as I'm late to my destination.
Excellent way to travel to Vancouver from Kelowna and return..Comfortable.. with safe and careful driving by the Drivers, especially when road conditions were hazardous.
I could not take my reservation to Kelowna because I could not find my vaccine card had to pay for another ticket for a 215 departure not happy with company at all
Was great but maybe next time we are running late they could do an announcement saying what time we are expecting to be there. I had never done the trip so had people waiting the other end not being able to give a good time.
Overall, pretty good. Would have liked a bit more indicators of Covid protocol: checking vaccination passports, hand sanitizer at the door, wipes to wipe down near the seats. I was also confused as to whether we were able to eat and drink on the bus, as we were told to wear our masks at all times, but weren’t stopped long enough to eat outside the bus
This is the most terrible bus service I’ve ever experienced. We waited at the bus terminal for two hours before departure and they managed to leave us behind. There was no proper signs and time warning before departure. Nobody called us either. We missed our first bus and they didn’t reschedule us. They made us buy new bus tickets. I highly don’t recommend taking this terrible Ebus service
Very disappointed that Megan was NOT allowed to board your Ebus to Kelowna on account of her inability to produce any identification. Megan previously reported the theft of her ID to the VPD, and she had hopes that the police file number she was issued would suffice in lieu of the ID that she no longer possessed. A little discretion in this instance would have gone a long way in assisting Megan to get to family members willing to assist her with her current life situation.
Totally understand the fires played a factor on the way to Kelowna. But at one point we had to stop to transfer bus drivers and were told we had a 20 minute break. We ended up staying for more than 90 minutes without anyone telling us anything. It would have been nice for the driver to give an update. But whenever someone asked what was happening he would tell us to calm down. Not our fault we don’t know we’re delayed!
