Firstly there was no place to check your bags, when you leave a hotel it is usually 11am, so you have time before the bus leaves, I would have liked to have checked my bags. There seemed to be some kind of quicker boarding pass. approximately 30 single people boarded the bus, too a double seat each, by the time my husband and I got on we were in the last available double seat and the isle armrest was broken.. making it a difficult ride for my husband who was sitting on the isle side. We have three people with serious mobility issues, they had to wait for all the young people to get off, as it does not seem to be procedure to give them the opportunity to get off first. I think some public service needed to happen here.
The bus driver was excellent. We felt very safe, he was efficient and kind. The heat broke and so it was 90°F++ the whole trip. Very uncomfortable. Also I'm quite certain the woman in the seat across from us was either insanely high or coming down off drugs. It was awful being next to her.
We arrived so late, it was more than 2 hours delay. Driver was too tired. Thought she was very disoriented. Was taking too much time during our stops. 15-30 mins. Not sure if she was a new driver... Never experienced this before though with my previous travels in greyhound.
It was good. But it is so nice if incase of delay the staff will inform passengers and let them stay inside for further notice. Than to let us stand freezing outside for 45 minutes. And kept promising for 5 min.
