Confusion as to where to wait for the bus at the entrance of Viscount Station in Mississauga could be avoided with a simple signage there. Or someone to take calls and direct confused travellers.
Great ride! Driver is very professional and the bus was clean. Extremely annoying riders (FaceTiming family with speaker on full blast) but that’s out of rider express’s control
Rider express was great, this was the first time I ride a bus, they gave me a good first time. I have to mention though that it would be better if there was further warning of noise and talking on the bus. At my first ride when we stopped at Kingston someone that got on literally kept talking until we reached Ottawa, it was very annoying to ride with them.
Ontario Northland has to know who they are jointly working .Busbad are scamining customers by hacking and missing leading Customers through web booking!
The bus got to Ottawa 1.5 hours after the scheduled time of arrival. There were some unscheduled stops and bus transfer that we weren't notified of before
Toronto coach station is closed. But the ticket shows we need to go to Toronto coach station to get one the bus. This causes us not getting on the bus.
Great service! Was brought to my destination in a timely manner and the bus was actually early to show and arrive at the destination. The bus driver was very kind and did everything he could to make riders comfortable.
Everything was great altho a little pricey and there was a little confusion as to the drop off location as i had inquired if it was the old grey hound terminal and told affirmative but was actually the train station
This was my 1st time on Rider Express and I was very much happy with it. The bus fare is reasonable as well. I will no longer take the Via rail to Ottawa for sure!
Overall, the service was great. I just think that direction to locating the bus terminal could be clearer that was given by a staff. Everything else was satisfactory.
I recommend buses to Ottawa from Toronto have two stops at each end. In Ottawa the stop was St Laurent Mall but I'm sure many would appreciate a stop in Bayshore, which is on the way. Probably a second stop in Toronto would help as well. This would improve the chances of me riding with Rider Express out of Ottawa and of me recommending the service to friends.
Great service. It was initially difficult trying to find the bus. Walked to Bay Street when I couldn’t find it on Front street. But thankfully I was called and provided assistance to locate the bus. I appreciate that.
Our bus driver was awesome! I loved the rate and how clean and new the bus was! we left on time took a break half way and got to Ottawa right on time. Great experience!
It would’ve been a 5* rating if the bus had power outlets. A 4-5 hour bus ride definitely needs an outlet. I wouldn’t of minded the bus being late if I was occupied and not having to turn all my devices off to preserve power.
it's kind of sketchy that they don't use actual bus stations to load/drop off passengers, they should reconsider the Ottawa bus "station" as it's surrounded by homeless people yelling and it can be very dark and empty at night, making it potentially unsafe for travellers to make their own way to the actual subway station which is about a 5 min walk in the dark
In the morning I spent looking for the bus station and went to the union bus station then run back in order to be on time. it will be quite comfortable if I received notice that the bus will be directly in front of the main building of the union station. Overall everything is good. many thanks.
Bus seats were not that comfortable. Chairs are too close together and so there is almost no leg room. There were no armrests making the trip more uncomfortable. We were late by 30mins and it was a bit cold on the bus.
