The Bus drivers were great, but the staff member who handled the luggage took money from us in an unacceptable way. We had weighed our bags, and they were the 15 kg required by the ticket; he said they were overweight without weighing them and then made us pay 2000 pecos without a receipt. That is extortion at its worst. He pocketed the money himself. We believe we were targeted because we are travelers and struggle with Spanish.
They listed the service as overnight bed service. However it has semi bed capability. The seat does not have the ability to convert into a flat bed. This is false representation of their service when I pirchases it.
Even though the bus was 1 hour late, the communication from the staff was excellent. I wasn't worried as they gave regular updates.
The staff on the bus were incredibly helpful and friendly.
I would definitely use this service again
It was generally good but lacking a few items. Other bus companies gave us food and or water for long trips, this one was around 12 hours and nothing. The only facility to use is the bathroom which gets dirty after only a few uses by other travellers. There was not air conditioning, at least nothing sufficient enough to keep the upper part of the bus cool, I was sweating the entire time. Bus seats are slightly smaller than other companies o have ised but are sufficient. Overall I would say this is sufficient.
The bus seats were very comfortable and the staff was helpful! But the bathroom was gross and the bus was 30 min late to depart and 2 hours late to arrive.
We sat on top deck at the front. The screen in the above panel just rattled like mad the whole 9 hour journey. Extremely irritating banging noises. Seats were comfy. Bus was on time. Driver was good! Disappointed about the bag loading. I went to the back of the bus to put my bag in, but a random guy insisted that he put my bag on the bus. Once he did so, he held his hand out for money?! I could have done it myself for free? Unnecessary service and very rude.
Bus was 20 minutes or so late. Wouldn't have minded at all, but the station displayed no info, nor the staff, and passengers had no way of knowing.
Once aboard, I was pleasantly surprised. A tray of snacks, followed by a burger/patty and mashed potato. Followed by water, juice and, best of all, whisky! Helpful for sleeping.
Woke in the morning to a sweet snack and a small coffee.
Very impressed.
Bus itself was fine - comfortable seats, good food, easy to sleep. But it arrived an hour late to Cordoba bus station for Buenos Aires journey. Waiting around there for almost two hours wasn’t much fun!
Don’t use this company. Compared to other Argentinian bus companies it is very poor. No food or drink on a 12 hour journey. No stopping to buy food on the way. No working WiFi. No entertainment. No toilet!!
Staff told me that my e ticket did not work despite it stating that an email ticket would suffice. Instead I was charged an extra 60 pesos to print the two tickets. Also had to rush in between the Chevalier's stall below and rush back several times as the bus was just about to leave when I was told I needed to print the ticket. Also the bus was very hot and no refreshments were offered despite the buying page.
We were forced to pay for the luggage even though it was included in the ticket price. Staff was really rude and did not want to bring the luggage on to the bus. Later on staff was rude again when I changed seats for a couple of minutes to talk with my friends and next to me was a women with two big bags and a baby so it was not possible for me to sit on my seat. He yelled at me and was very rude. Worst staff so far and I travelled with a lot of companies during the last half year. Hope the staff will learn from this in the future.
There was an unfortunate incident where drugs were found on the bus, I understand this is not a fault of Irquiza however I did mean a 3 hour delay (after also leaving 15 minutes late) other minor problems were that the seat was broken (Cama, seat 61) it would not stay in the upright position. The USB ports were broken and the movie had no sound.
Bus arrived about 20 min late which we were told by other passengers was very normal. Bus condition was nice but they do not offer a blanket or pillow like most other overnight buses. Also they did not offer food or refreshments like many of their competitors. Overall it was a fine experience with comfy seats but no extra services.
It was an awful journey. No service whatsoever. No blanket, pillow, no food, no drink, no attendant, freezing air-conditioning, and on top a disgusting loo. The bus was 20 minutes late coming in but no one gave any information.
