Very disappointing experience traveling from Salta to Mendoza. Firstly, the baggage handler demanded a tip to put our baggage on board. Secondly, the bus was late leaving. Third, the toilets were unusable - completely disgusting and no toilet paper. Finally, the bus arrived 2 hours after its scheduled time, and the baggage handler unloading also demanded a tip to get our bags back(!)
Du retard au départ (15 mn) et à l'arrivée (+ 1 h 30) ; pas d'eau dans les toilettes ; air conditionné insuffisant et en panne en fin de parcours alors que la température ext. augmentait.
The host lady who was working on the bus was amazing. She was constantly cleaning and looked after the less abled passengers on the bus really well. She was a 5* employee!
The service and the sits in the omnibus were good. The only thing I couldn’t understand that all the time we were forced to watch bad american movies. So I had to use the earphones to eliminate the sound
The bus did not show up for 2 hours and there was no explanation or any staff to inform passengers on waiting. Inside bus, no charging outlet, no individual entertainment system, no WiFi, food provided was dried and stale disgusting. Comparing to Balut bus I traveled earlier, this bus was way below my expectation based on the price.
It was something different which I don't understand. When I traveled from Mendoza to Salta I received warm dinner. When I traveled from Salta to Mendoza it was only cold dinner.
Their luggage crew tried to overcharge us for luggage mentioning we needed to tip - a standard in Argentina. However, they kept asking for more because we are foreign, locals confirmed it later. Also, the bus did more than 15 stops and dropoffs and we had to change bus at the begining.
No information on schedule, meals, delays was provided. The bus was 5 hours délayed and no one told us about it. 24h journey without wifi or plugs to charge our devices.
