Greyhound Lines, Inc. Silver Spring Newark recent customer reviews
When I got to the Silver Spring bus station on July 14, it was locked. I had to wait on the seats placed outside. Empty fast food containers littered the whole place. When the 4:30 pm bus to Newark failed to arrive by 5:20 pm, I called the Greyhound number and was assured that the bus would arrive by 5:45 pm. To cut a long story short, I had to proceed to Union Station to take an Amtrack train.

The bus itself was alright, we drove smoothly. However, I was astonished with the immediate hostility and rudeness of the driver. He was extremely unhelpful not just to me and my mother, but to every single passenger on the bus. A family had politely asked him if the bus was stopping in Baltimore, and in response he snapped at them to “just get in line” while he could’ve just answered yes or no. He scanned my little brother’s ticket and yelled at him for not having it as preferably zoomed in as he desired. My brother is a sensitive kid and wouldn't stop asking me what he did wrong to be treated like that. He proceeded to yell at everyone in the aisle putting their luggage away and told them that they were “wasting his time”… I had to comfort a woman who was panicking from not being able to fit her luggage in the compartment because she was another victim to his temper.
