This was a terrible ride. The bus was completely full which I wonder if it’s even allowed. People had masks off. And the people in front of me spoke loudly the entire trip.
The bus came in late 30min, we call the company, and they know nothing about the bus, the bus itself was bad, the windows are not closed well, so we feel cold in such a cold day, the stopped the bus on the road side trying fixing windows but it was useless and we still cold.
He tried his best and keep apologizing, also there was no power outlets to charge phones.
I was so upset and tired and the bus arrived at 11:30 instead of 10:45.
The trip was pleasant overall but I we thought there would be an intermediate stop so we could buy something to eat. We were stuck in traffic jams for a long time and we were hungry.
This was my first time on this bus service. But as the ticket was purchased for Bolt it was not Bolt bus.it was Greyhound. The charging port was not in every row.A pocket in front of every seat would have been convenient to keep stuff in. The drive though was smooth
The seats were comfortable and the leg space was generous. But the bus didn't stop for a break in the 5+ hour ride. A 10 min stop would have been good.
My husband and I arrived at 1:55 PM, we have been told we are early. We said we know but we came early because we we from Florida this is are first experience. Then the departure was 4:05 there’s no bus 5:00 no bus, went ask at the information been told bus running late, 6:00 driver said we not belong to this bus they will put us in the next one, next one 7:00 driver told us no wait for 7:30 we have to wait until everyone getting first before we got the last two seats. That’s was my first & my last because they don’t care abut people with special needs like my husband
The staff at New York was very helpful but the staff at Newark Penn Station did not care to notify passengers that the 405 bus was going to be late. I had to keep getting up to ask what was the problem and why the bus was not here. The bus was scheduled for 405 and did not arrive until 515. To make matters worse I missed my connecting bus which was supposed to be 530 at New York.
The staff at Newark did not apologize or give any reasons for the delay. I had to wait over an hour for a bus to come.
I was very displeased with this situation.
Greyhound overbooked my bus and caused me to miss my transfer as well. Then almost tried to charge me for changing the transfer. Ended up being 4-5 hours late to Boston. Fantastic
So many issues one after another during this trip. Firstly, we left the station 20 mins late. Second, the bus driver said he'd have to pull over because something's wrong with the bus and he doesn't want to risk a breakdown. We were at a rest stop for more than an hour while another bus came. Bus driver was kind and apologized but that didn't help when I missed my next connection in Boston as I was 3 hours late. We were supposed to reach at 5pm but didn't reach until 7:45pm. I understand these things happen, but traffic should be accounted for in the estimation of arrival time.
The portion of the bus ride from Newark to New York City had broken seats therefore not enough seats for everyone. I literally had to stand up for the entire ride otherwise I would not make my connection to Boston
The staff at new jersey penn station was very rude to all customers. I had to reprint my ticket and although it was my mistake, they were very rude. Please hire more friendly individuals or provide further communication skills training. New york staff was friendly and there were no other problems. Nice journey overall except staff at new jersey.
Greyhound service was good. The staff at the Station and in the Bus was so nice.
But one thing was to be improved that the buses should be cleaned before every departure. When i started my journey from Newark Penn Station, Bus was so dirty with some garbage like Nappy, Coffee Glasses, Tissue papers and water bottles. It was so messy at our feet.
Just that to be improve. Else was EXCELLENT. 👍🏽
Unfortunately my experience with Greyhound was not a good one. My bus, which was supposed to leave from Newark, NJ at 7:25 pm, was not projected to arrive until 1:30am. Therefore i was told to take a local bus to New York City and switch over to a different Greyhound bus that was projected to leave at 9:00pm. The 9:00 bus in fact did not leave at 9:00, it didn’t arrive at the station until 11:00pm which in turn didn’t get me to my destination until 3:30 in the morning, which was extremely inconvenient.
The 1:00 pm bus never came, We waited for 2 hours... Then, finally the personnel put us on a bus to NY where we took another bus to Boston. If we left at 1:00 pm, we would be in Boston at 5:45 pm. But we left slightly after 3:00 pm and get to Boston around 8:00 pm. The service we paid for was not delivered, so I asked for my money back...
