Greyhound is worst bus service that I have never seen in my life. They don’t even care about their customers. They just want to sell their tickets and that’s it they don’t even care about whether passengers are live or dead.. Their customer service is very worst. If you’re looking to have good travel experience, please don’t select greyhound.
Great smooth experience. Timing was very good overall. Towards end of overall trip got a bit delayed however noticed an accident therefore did not seem like something in control of the driver. Driver drove great and very kind gentleman.
I will not take Greyhound again. I left Boston at 7:30pm and arrived in NYC at 1:30am. No bus leaving until 6:45 am from NYC. Had to switch buses in Philadelphia and Wilmington. Baltimore to DC. I took Amtrak the rest of the way home. I reached my destination Quantico Va at 3:15pm. No sleep for 24 hours.
The worst experience ever
The drivers lack customer service skills and complained that their buses were packed to capacity. A driver pulled the bus to a complete stop and threaten to throw people off the bus. Another driver was going to leave an elderly customer behind. I told the driver that another Greyhound employee gave the customer permission to go get water.
We had a bad trip from Boston to Washington. First the driver Ali Balde was really rude and humiliated us.
We waited a long time in New York because the bus was late, without getting any information. Then we finally got some, and again the driver was rude and late (40 minutes). We had a stop and the driver told us, that we should be in the bus 15 minutes after. But he didn’t him self arrive before after 30 minutes.
And the restroom in the bus didn’t work.
I won’t be driving with greyhound again
My return home on Oct 14th was delayed. We were scheduled to leave at 6:45 a.m.but didn't leave until 9:00a.m. Immediately contacted customer service and questioned clerk at ticket counter; neither couldn't provide any information, they were clueless.
My NY-Washington bus was scheduled on my ticket at 2:00pp pm and left at 15:25 via Baltimore prolonging my Journey time. I got no info on resheduled trip and noone apologised for the delay.
I missed my first bus but the staff at Boston where very helpful. My transition at New York was less pleasant as there was barely anyone around to garner information to which bus I would switch to.
I’ve only had a good experience with Greyhound staff, but in the last week I’ve been on two late buses, which caused me to miss one connection, and the final bus I took smelled like a portable toilet. Pretty disgusting.
our 12:30 bus from Boston to NY was cancelled. No Email notification from Busbud or Peter Pan. There were no staff at the gate telling us of the change. After taking a later bus we just managed to get a connecting DC bus 1-hour after our scheduled one. Needless to say we got to DC 2-hours later than planned and missed the subway train as it had already closed. We then had to take a Taxi which cost us $20. I will not use this company again or recommend Peter Pan to anyone.
Terrible terrible terrible. Missed the connecting bus because the first bus was late. No explanation, no staff on site, no customer support over the phone. Avoid like the plague.
There was significant delay and I almost missed an international flight connection. Thank God for the lady handling gate 14 who helped me get on board a different bus after I explained my problem. There was no communication regarding the delay and the ticket office was completely unhelpful in explaining what was going on.
I made a booking with busbud a thirdparty. They made a mistake and put 6 pm instead of 6:30pm. I was treated unfairly & asked to figure out how to go to DC after waiting for tgr 8 & 10 oclick bus hoping to resolve my issue
I am in spring break and I bought 2 bus tickets from Greyhound. In all of them I had problem with the time, they were all late. I had to wait 1h 30min for the bus to arrive and because of that I lost the other bus. Also the people that worked on Greyhound were extremely rude with me and everyone. I would not recommend Greyhound to anyone.
I was not made at all aware when I booked that there would be a transfer to a different bus in New York with an hour's wait time. This was an unwelcome surprise
