Megabus User Reviews
Megabus receives praise for its punctual service and convenient boarding locations, particularly in Toronto. Passengers appreciate the smooth travel experience and friendly drivers. However, some reviews mention issues such as strong air conditioning making trips uncomfortably cold, delays without prior notice, maintenance concerns like broken buses or stuck bathroom doors, and a lack of advertised amenities like power outlets. Despite these challenges, many travelers find Megabus to be a reliable choice with good value for money.
I LOVED IT! I read that some people had to wait for hours but my bus came on point and was so nice with everyone, super efficient, and the accommodations are impressive, like the fact you can bring a suitcase to put in the back of the bus and the place has air conditioning, we even had a 15 break near a Tim Hortons if needed to pee or eat, there were seatbelts in the bus for everyone and the driver even helped bring down our luggage, both drivers were amazing and I felt so happy

The trip between Montreal and Kingston, we feel cold because the air conditioning was quite strong, and we (I and other passengers) spoke to the driver, he switched it lower but after he switched strong back, we spoke to him again, later it got a little better. But overall we felt cold. We understand there are some reasons the driver have to put air conditioning in high volume. Finally, he drove us to Kingston safely, we reached to Toronto with another driver.

The bus was slightly delayed. The driver was amazing and the trip went smoothly. The AC was bombing making the bus super cold 🥶

I had a trip planned to Niagara Falls at 7:30 pm to see the fireworks show at 10pm, but the bus left an hour late almost 8:30pm. First, they said there were issues with the bus, then it was traffic, and finally that the driver was on a break . Either way, I missed the show. I would never travel with Megabus again.
