I booked a bus ticket for 5:29pm, having arrived there was no bus at the north terminal scheduled to leave at that time. After waiting for half an hour, the staff told me to go to the south terminal so I had to walk and get a shuttle across. By the time I reached the south terminal it was 6:30, and a bus arrived but did not let any more people on, saying there needed to be space for upcoming passengers to get on. I considered going home but left to get some food as I had been waiting for almost 2 hours at that point. I returned to the south terminal at 7:15 and kept waiting, I eventually got onto a bus at 8:05pm by pleading with the driver, and reached my destination at 11:00pm (I was supposed to arrive at 8:20pm). No tracker apps were working, and every staff member at Gatwick told me something different. Having paid £30 for a ticket, this is unacceptable.
Driver yelled at me and scolded me over the intercom to the entire bus because I mentioned the wrong stop when getting on accidentally, and at that stop someone claimed my luggage as their own without me knowing, I begged to go back and we did when the person realized they made a mistake and called me. But it was absolutely humiliating getting yelled at like that despite it not being my fault someone took my bag.
The bus was supposed to arrive at 5.00am but never came, so it was a waste of money. I ended up having to purchase another ticket for a different route. Very dissatisfied as it was early morning on a Sunday and there were very few other options I could take to reach home, as such I was stranded.

Clean, comfortable, polite personnel who were happy to help (referring to the driver). Also on time.
Very comfortable coach. Clean, spacious and obliging driver.
I was disappointed when my bus scheduled to leave LGW at 3:15 didn’t leave until 3:50. The staff weren’t very helpful and I was worried it wouldn’t show at all. I think the staff need to have better knowledge on bus times and when busses are scheduled to arrive, so they can therefore reassure and advise customers efficiently.
