The busline is good, the driver did a good job. I think its just the time schedule that is a bit "too optimistic". Me as a Swiss Citizen am not used zo delay on public transport.
It was a seamless transaction from start to finish despite the bus being 10 minutes late, which was ok as we left ourselves enough time for incidentals
No contact details to phone, bus driver appeared to think he was only 5 min late!! and location of bus stop in Oxford was not clear as we would have missed bus but for the help of other bus drivers. Staff at Oxford did not know either.
My 3am bus never arrived; I was forced to order a taxi to Gatwick to make it to my flight on time. I am therefore extremely dissatisfied with my National Express experience.
The bus trip itself was fine. My bus was late leaving Oxford by about 20 mins. There was no info about at the bus stop whereas all the Heathrow buses came up on the electronic display. I was a bit concerned about this and wondered if I was waiting in the right place.
Waited at the gate to leave . Realised it was 2 mins till bus left walked along the rank to see driver had changed buses . He was not very friendly at all . I asked if this was the Gatwick bus , he took my ticket and the just gestured to get on . I never heard him shout out. We then left rather quickly . I am sure we left people at the bus stop . If I hadn’t of walked along the rank I would have missed my flight as the next bus wasn’t until 2200. The bus I caught was 2015 . But did get there safe & sound .
