The fact that the MegaBus has NO WiFi is bad enough to drive away customers to National Rxpress was totally disappointed considering the 9 hours on the bus
Late arrival, couldn’t access wifi.. the staff on board after changeover were reluctant to assist passenger with disability to go to the toilet - very disappointing.
Did not like the last stop-walkway over road-only time to go to loo. We had about 3 or 4 other stops. We were on a second bus that national express must use for excess of passengers .Dim lights on the whole time
The inside of the bus was very cold. Although we had to warn them a lot of times, the drivers certainly did not care. Even though we were making a night trip, the air conditioners were set too cold. The bus was freezing. It was an uncomfortable journey for me that lasted for 11 hours in the freezing cold.
Bus was clean (even the toilet) and as comfortable as a bus could be I guess. Picked up and arrived at the proper times. Staff was strict on policies (i.e.: no alcohol, as one customer found out) but friendly. Only downside my USB charger at my seat was broken.
Despite calling ahead to advise that we were unavoidably held up by the incompetence of British rail staff and that we would arrive at exactly the time the bus was due to leave after travelling for 24 hours with a child National Express refused to assist us. We arrived just as the bus was leaving and they refused to let us board.
From London to Edinburgh was not too good. We were delayed by 20min after which we got on a bus not branded. Seemed the 420 was not on time. At Birmingham however we got a beautiful NatExp bus with an awesome bus driver
